It let me order after like 6 tries! lol

I got a 226, mythical, runaway red and stunner

I also want the 193 and maybe the 211, but I believe they're both permanent, so no rush

No idea, but I hope so since I can't get to a store or counter.

Just seen how much has been put on MAC UK today - MAC Me Over, Styledriven, Prime Focus, Matchmaster Foundation, Opulash Optimum Black, Turquatic, Clearly MAC, Signature Tote and New Makeup Bags. How crazy is that??
Ooh I can't wait to hear about Styledriven and Matchmaster.

Don't know if it has been mentioned but Stunner is sold out on the US site and all of the fluidlines are sold out on the Nordies site.

I got my 226. It's pretty rounded out. Hope it works out better than the 224 because me and that brush do not get along at all. I also got peachstock and avenue f/l. I think I'm gonna sell the f/l. Not really feeling midnight blues either. I think for my skintone black works best for me. Lesson learned.

Yup, Sunday night. I might call CS tomorrow and ask what the hell's up.
I ordered my 226 from Nordstroms last week, and have yet to receive it. Judging from the UPS tracking system, it was shipped from Canada, then held in the US for a couple of days before a shipping label was made. Other than that there is no other tracking information except expected delivery is tomorrow afternoon. If I don't receive a package tomorrow CS will receive a call

I'm new here, but I love reading everyone's comments. It has really been helpful to a makeup novice

I went to MAC today and got my stuff :D I ended up with just Avenue, Carbonized, Stunner and Oh, Oh, Oh from MMO and also picked up Bare Study p/p and the 179 brush from SP.
I passed on the 226 in the end because none were as tapered as I'd have liked - I might try online or Debenhams at the weekend, but I'm happy with what I got for now!

I love black eyeliner best for me too. But keep in mind, Fluidlines also make for great bases under shadows.

I'm worried I'm going to be disappointed with the 226

If you're looking for something more tapered you might want to look at the laura mercier crease brush

Yesterday I tried Runaway Red over last year's Viva Glam Gaga l/s - 'was a nice way to soften the color and texture for a summery day. Gave the blue-based equivalent of Hibiscus in texture and color brightness. I like.

I eventually decided against getting Runaway Red. It looks lovely, and everyone seems to be raving about it, but on comparing swatches on Temptalia's site, it seems to be rather darker than Heartless, Russian Red or even Dubonnet. Her Russian Red looks brighter than mine does, though, so who knows? Her Runaway Red lip swatch looks as dark as her Dark Side lip swatch, so I'm thinking it will be much too dark for me.

Reds are very changeable, depending on your skintone. Heartless looked very bright on Christine, but looked brown and dull on me, for example - just an effect based on contrast with skin tone.

Runaway Red doesn't look dark on me, but it's not super bright either - just rich looking (NC15 with dark hair). The texture makes it look a little deeper than it actually is, especially if you spread it on really thick.

I'd say it's perfect if you are looking for a very blue-based red, but I don't think it will be at its best on warm toned skin colors or oilier skin. If you can get a chance, test it in person. It's not a guaranteed shade for all skin tones to look amazing without some extra work (which isn't worth it, in my book), but for the right people, it's the best red in a long time - I've passed on all red lipsticks for a few years, but this one I backed up.

I just got off the phone with CS, and I was told that UPS was having issues delivering packages because of Irene. That really doesn't make much sense to me considering the warehouse is in Kentucky, and my Nordie's package got here yesterday with no problems. -__-

I'm very pale most of the time, with dark brown hair - NW15 is too dark, but I don't know what my actual colour is. I tried Max Factor's FaceFinity Compact Foundation in 01 Porcelain recently, and that seems a fairly good match.

Unfortunately I can't try any MAC in person as there is no store or counter near me, otherwise I'm sure I'd be in there regularly spending way too much money lol.

I was really excited for this collection and it's probably brought about my biggest MAC purchase this year. I picked up:

- 226 - what hasn't been said about it?
- 211 - an unexpected purchase. For me, this was a sleeper hit and I LOVE this brush a lot! It has a nice firmness that will keep its shape and point when applying my fluidline.
- Runway Red ls - What can I say... I'm a sucker for reds. It's a really pretty, deep blue-based red on me.
- Deep Sea np - LOVE this shade. It's the perfect dark teal and applies really well for me.
- Moleskin es - Applies very nicely, great pigmentation, love the color.
- Carbonized es - I didn't think it was a color I'd be interested in at first, but it was love at first swatch. Great pigmentation and very smooth.
- Mythical es - Same feelings as Carbonized. Looks great with it, too!
- Outre es - mixed feelings about it, but I'm a fan of those ugly-but-pretty shades so I want to make it work!

I still want to pick up Creamy Bisque and Avenue fluidline but my wallet screamed and I'm trying to resist. Loved this collection!!
