I'm starting to regret that I didn't get Mythical. Too bad I don't have time to visit Helsinki tmw. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get it and the green f/l if they still have it on sunday.

I have been debating this over and over, damn I can't decide whether to get Mythical or not.

Yeah I didn't know if I should get it when I was in store. I swatches it in store and it's very close to mythology but better texture and it has a slight pink sheen. If it's still in store next week I might pick it up

I am going to BU creamy bisque and carbonized. I am also still on the hunt for a reasonably tapered 226 brush, so I will probably order another one of those. LOL! I also really like OhOhOh and Social Light, but I don't think that I love them enough to BU.

I wanted to BU Stunner b/c it is an amazing color for my skin tone. It is sold out everywhere. So unless MAC restocks, I will pass on that BU. I hate evilbay!

I almost forgot to mention that I unintentionally BU Dark Diversion fluidline. Somehow in my LE panic ordering frenzy, I ordered one from MAC & one from Nordstrom. I love it so far, so I will probably keep the BU.

Got Mythical today and I am soo in love with it! Never bought Mythology as I loathe lustre e/s. It's definitely lighter and more 'pink' than Coppering. Should work really well with my fall looks incorporating Amber Lights, this and Coppering.

I forgot to mention Offshoot. This was on my for sure list, but when I saw it in person I didn't want it that badly after all. It's very very close to Twig. It's like Twig with a bit of Modesty thrown in. I didn't expect it to be that dark, I figured I would wear it couple of times and then forget it. When I go dark I want it really dark, I'm not very often on mood for those medium-dark shades. Btw, there was a liner in Styledriven that was exactly the same colour as Offshoot.

Also I was so excited for the glosses but didn't get any. Curvaceous was close to Deelight cremesheen glass (although it might be nice 'cause it's more opaque), and Good Times was super thick! It was quite greyed out pale mauve. It could be absolutely gorgeous or absolutely hideous. I left it for now, it's coming with Fall Color if I keep thinking of it too much.

I want Butternutty. I bought an extra Beige-ing this summer knowing they will discontinue it, but Butternutty has better texture. It's so convenient as a base when travelling or with pigments.

So exciting! I haven't swatched anything yet but it all looks B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L! I got 2 226 brushes, they are both different, one is quite tapered whereas the other is less so but not too domed shaped. I will post pictures later once my camera battery has finished charging. I don't have an original 226 so can't compare them. I'm not too bothered though, they both look really nice and I'm sure each will have it's advantage as I can use the one with more of a tip to get deeper into the crease. I might get to go to a store the week after next when I'm off work for holiday but they will probably have sold out by them but you never know. I'm looking forward to playing with other new things anyway like the 191 brush and the new Styledriven things.

Here's my old and new 226. Old on the top and new on the bottom. I personally don't mind that they are complitely different, I prolly wouldn't have bought the new 226 if it would have been just like the old one. But I still think that the brush should have been named differently. I used the new 226 today to blend my crease colour and it worked really well. Actually it feels softer than my old 226 and I think the new one will get more use than the old one. What comes to te inconsistency with the brushes that some have reported.. Well they are hand made so no two will be excatly similar, but thet should be generally the same shape all. Maybe MAC has commisioned these brushes from a new manufacturer?

After all the comments in this thread I dug out my 226s and compared them to each other (since I don't have the original 226) and this thread. Apparently I got one and one. One looks like the old 226 in the above pic and the other is only slightly rounded. I'd have to say I'm happy with them both as they fit well in my smaller slightly hooded crease. I wish they both were tapered alike but I'm not taking either one back. I've been after this brush since its last release and I'm happy to have it. BTW if anyone is looking for an exact dupe of the old 226 brush, allow me to suggest the CREASE brush from Royal & Langnickle. It's in the Silk Pro line and looks exactly like the old tapered 226. I bought this brush at IMATS NYC and forgot I had it until my sister showed me hers. She didn't buy a 226 because she had this brush. I hope this helps someone out there.

Posted a fotd with Equilibrium on the fotd forum :) Have a look: http://www.specktra.net/t/177062/equilibrium I really love this blush, it looks allmost like a bronzer on me so I'm mainly going to use it as a kind of contouring blush (and that's the way to apply blush I like the most). I think it will work well paired with my all time favourite MAC blush Trace Gold

This one? http://beautyusa.royalbrushstore.com/products/productdetail/BC430+-+SILK+CREASE/part_number=BC430/201.2.1.1.43091.107241.93942.93943.0?pp=12& IMO, it looks nothing like the (old) 226; it's more like the 224. The Sigma E45 is much more identical. http://www.sigmabeauty.com/product_p/e45.htm

Runaway Red is a true face brightening shade for me. Makes eyes looks whiter and alive and skin looking fresh and young. It's lovely!
