redlily - Tweed Brun Rose is already available at my counters. It came out with Vitalumiere Hydra foundation. It is very pretty, a soft blush.
I agree with elegant, if you find a red that works for you, you will get addicted to reds. And you said you used to wear red lipsticks! Pinks and nudes are pretty too, I love to switch my looks so I wear all colours, except very plummy/purples or browns, which don't look good on me. The meteorites look lovely, I should be able to decide when I see them in person. I passed the meteorites for the past 2 or 3 years, somehow I feel it is a product that you have to purchase and use it for while to know if it is gives the effect you want.

Your wallet is happy then! You can look forward to the new collections next year. I love the promo pic too, she is my favourite model at the moment. I think those aren't bangles, but are sparkles sewn on the sleeves of her dress. You can see some of it on her shoulders too. What detailed work that must be!

elegant - Congrats on getting the chandelier! Are you buying the holiday collection from NM when it is up?
Thanks for clearing that up! It just looks wonderful. Haute couture really can be a form of art, don't you think so? I'd love to wear such a detailed dress one day!

:) So you lke the color of the tweed blush - its in my cart at NM online. Is it glittery? I thought I read that somewhere. I will wait to get the rest of the collection from Chanel.com

Thanks hun, the chandelier is so pretty. I cannot wait to see it hanging & glittering in the light.

Just came back from the counter.
I like the blush a lot. But I need to figure out if I already have something like this.

I am stil not sure about the highlighter, the design on the tester was messed up already.

Pink RA is very close to RCS Evasion, they looked almost identical swatched so that is a pass for me.

Sweet beige looks similar to Sundress which I have, but didnt have with me so could not compare.

From other things nothing spoke to me, dont think I need the single shadows if I have Byzantine palette which is superior quality then these shadows.

I walked away empty-handed for now. Luckily this store didnt have Guerlain counter.

I don't care much for Evasion, so that sounds like potentially good news for my wallet. Which shadow in the Topkapi quad looks like the holiday beige?

really hard to say because these are completelly different textures. the holiday beige is lighter than the lighter brown, but the golds might be close

I dont wear Topkapi as much suprisingly.

There is also a gold liquid liner I dont hear anybody talking about.

It pulls very beige. I expected more of a cooler silvery gold.

SA was wearing it and it just looked funny on her, almost like she lined her eyes with a glowy foundation. The whole eye look she was rocking was weird, sort of peach shadows. But this was a country store and older lady. I believe it would look great but must be paired differently.

So, can you describe the color?
Thanks!

well I am not good at decribing and seeing color nuances

First I was thinking it would be close to Rose Ecrin so when I got back to work I compared the swatches (I still have Rose Brun on my hand) Rose Ecrin is deffinitelly on the pink side, and this is more peachy and warme, peachy beige.
It has shimmery overlay but now there are no shimmer particles in my swatch, actuall blush is not shimmery, but compared to Rose Ecrin is more glowy. If I still have the swatch on my hand I can look what similar I have at home. It is a very pretty color and the more I look at it the more I want it.

I just ordered Empire Laque from NM :)

They are having serious site issues again. It will not load the np for me in Firefox or Google Chrome

And...Karla just tweeted this pic:

and commented that the highlighter is pinker than she expected, as she was expecting more beige.

Thi highlighter is definitelly not beige. It is white pinkish, more white than pink. I dont know that much about highlighters but Lisa Eldridge recommended that skin color based highlighters look more natural.

Yep, and it is definitely not described by Chanel as beige either. They call it "a sheer blend of tender pink and pearlescence. Shades of ivory and pink dusted with tone-on-tone mother-of-pearls". I am leaning more towards skipping it...

Has she ever mentioned any particular favorites?

I was hoping to see this at Nordies today but they didn't have it. My wish list for birthday (12/7) and Christmas has diminished considerably since late summer/early fall. Being the highlighter ho that I am I want the Chanel highlighter and the new holiday Guerlain meteorites (haven't seen either in person). Any other recs from Chanel? (OT but for NARS fans the holiday trio is gorgeous!).
