Mitchelle.. I like the highliter, but being totally averse to glitter for me personally, I did not jump on it. Also, I also think the np is a dupe for Ruby slippers.. lol... at a 10th of the price.

I love the way highliters look on everyone else. Bummer than I have oily skin and don't really need it. I do love a pretty highlighter for the brow arch and cupid's bow and just a smidge on my upper cheekbones for special occasions. But yeah, I have to be careful about my pores looking huge (dang pores . . . grrrrr)

RedVelvetX...the SA at Neimans gave me a sample of Inimitable Intense Black Mascara when I bought my items. I will take samples of mascara anytime!!!

I wish chanel.com would start offering mascara samples again.. this reminded me that I need to buy a new mascara now lol

So I've had Rouge Carat on for a few hours now, and I love it! Perfect color for my first Chanel np, and the hubby even commented that it was a very me color.

The formula is quite thick, which I'm quite happy and impressed with as there's nothing I hate more than runny nail polish (I'm looking at you, Essie!) since I tend to have butterfingers when applying polish. I was able to apply quite an opaque coat even in just one pass, but I did two coats to saturate the color more. It's quite a vibrant red, and the fuschia/pink shimmer is incredibly subtle--you will not see chunks of glitter one tends to see in shimmery polish. On my golden tan skin Rouge Carat skews warm, but I imagine it'd go more pink on someone cooler-toned. I'm incredibly tempted to buy a backup since this is LE. Love! If this is what the formula is like with Chanel polishes I may have to start looking at them more...

I know, seriously, when you spend 100 bucks, you'd think Chanel would throw us a bone with decent samples.
Hope you find your brush! I am always losing eye pencils and lip pencils. One time I found a lipliner in with my jewelry . . . someone help me . . .

I think I will give them a call tomorrow & ask what is up with the really cheap/crappy samples!

Oh Michelle - on the pores & oily skin - next time you are at the mall get a sample of Lancomes new Visionnaire serum. Its wonderful for pores & has received raving reviews. I don't have large pores, but after using this what I did have almost completely disappeared. But try a sample first - they have packet samples now. Actually I have hoarding samples of it since unfortunately it costs $84

Finally saw this collection in person. Empire went home with me since I have no self restraint. Enivree is pretty but i had to swatch it a lot on my hand for it to show up. It kinda reminded me of one of the dazzle lipsticks (can't remember which one). I really like the glossimer and may get it later. Between this collection and MAC's holiday collection i'll be broke until next year. At least i'll have a pretty face while broke HAHAHA

I am writing the Lancome serum down -- will definitely check that one out. My skin is the bane of my existence!! I was seriously complaining about it to my Dermatologist and he told me I needed to build a bridge. I wanted to bust out laughing

lol You are welcome. I am glad I confused you even more. Hehehe! Just kidding. Seriously, I did not think I would get this one, but I put Pearl Glow on today and kinda liked it, so decided to go back and re-swatch the holiday one. Since they are both different in colour, texture and shimmer, I felt it was a good excuse. I also wanted to splurge a bit because I haven't in a while and the holidays are coming up (plus my birthday next month) so more apt to wear higher end MU now through the winter than during hot and humid days of summer!

See. I can justify buying anything so long as I twist it around to my logic!

I have PG (which I love), and I ordered the new highlighter. I also backed up my MAC lightscapade recently. So I will be glowing for many years to come.

I can't sleep, and while I'm excited about getting the holiday highlighter................I still want PG, and the holiday meteorites, that damn Armani one from last year that's not available, Snowglobe from MAC, and whatever that BP is with the designer collab. I have a problem, lol.

I think it's safe to say that I should start highlighting other body parts because there's no way I can use all of what I have and all of what I still want on my face alone. People will be able to watch me glow from space pretty soon, lol.

Yes the meteorites are taking their sweet ass time! I told my hubby about waiting for them to show up and he was totally confused and asked when my interest in space items started, lol...boys. I explained and once he heard it was make-up related he just kinda smiled, lol. I have to go to the dentist today (ugh, my least favorite thing in the world) and after my appointment I'm thinking about going to the mall to see if it's there by chance. We'll see what I feel like doing after the gross chair of invasion via mouth.

Thanks ladies! We went for a little day trip with the whole family on Sunday and then had our own little turkey dinner last night, just the four of us. It was really nice, until the kids started screaming at each other about something ridiculously silly and I had to threaten to take the DS away next weekend. Love this age, lol!
