Nora -- so glad you had a nice Thanksgiving! Oh, how I can relate about having to take things away from the kids. That straightens mine right up! LOL

Well, I really need to get going this morning. I couldn't sleep again last night -- and wowza, no amount of Chanel makeup is going to help me today

^Ohmygosh - we've been having trouble sleeping for quite a few months now too. We wake up about 3:30 & up until about 5:30 - 6

its awful! And, I didn't even eat chocolate. We thought it was just us, & then we started hearing many other people saying the same thing. I hate it.

My NM order for Empire won't be here until Thurs. When I ordered BL they said it was backordered but then CS told me that they got their shipment in yesterday so there shouldn't be much delay.

Nora - I think Empire will be a lovely color for you. Funny about the kids...well, maybe not for you

I was just at Nordstroms Saturday, I wish I would have thought to swatch those two side by side, but the Holiday Highlighter seemed luminous and I kinda remember the PG being kinda frosty. I was surprised to read that Sabrina like PG over the holiday one, just due to the shimmer.

Okay! Picture! I tried swatching but it isn't coming out like I want it to and the sun is setting so one side of the house is too dark and the other side is glowing yellow and glaring. I was able to get this photo in natural light, though, and I think it does an excellent job comparing the two highlighters. The Holiday Highlighter on the left (pinker in tone, less glitter, more finely milled) and the Pearl Glow on the right ( more golden toned, more glitter, a bit chunkier). The best way I can describe it is an NW15 vs an NC15 and sheen vs shimmery! I hope this helps!

You are very welcome! Yes, the PG is definitely more frosty than the Holiday one, so they are different enough to justify buying both if you are looking to build your highlighter collection or want them for very different looks. I swatched some of the lip products I purchased and it is now up on my blog if anyone wants to check it out. If I buy anything else from this collection it might be that amazing and unique gold eyeliner for one of my fairy looks. But I think I am happy with what I have got! I have to spread the wealth. Everyone is coming out with amazing holiday collections and special gifts and I am getting greedy. I want them all! lol

I preordered the highlighter,Empire,Sweet Beige and Beige Lame at Bloomingdales, they are having a bunch of giveaways starting Thursday.
I really liked the highlighter(I don't have PG), even after the top shimmer is gone, the powder has a nice sheen to it. Beige Lame seemed pretty smooth on my hand.

I gotta know...does Famous look like Rouge Byzantin's siamese twin? Because the pictures look very similar and I already own Rouge Byzantin. And would Enviree look too pale on NW43 skin? And does the Triomphal lip gloss look better than Dragon? It's a given I'm getting the red polish. I'm not even going to pretend.

Trying to wait until Nordstrom has this so I can get my Fashion points & ebates.

Posted a quickie review maybe 2 pages back, but Enivree didn't show up at all on me and Famous was pretty much Rouge Byzantin's twin. I still would check them out in person if possible, if I've learned anything with Chanel is that stuff can look completely different on various skin tones.

I ended up getting Famous and Enivree RA lipsticks and the Sweet Beige glossimer. I am excited to try out Famous because it is so different from my normal neutrals! But yes, I do love me some pinky neutrals. You look great with the nude lips!

Nice! I think that Famous will look excellent on you and today I wore Enivree and loved its sweet and delicate look. At first I was afraid it would disappear on me because I have rosy mauve lips, very pigmented for someone so pale. But it settled into my skin and left the sweetest of gentle pinks on my lips....others are brighter or darker, so I think you will love it! I thought it would look more coral on me, but no. Which now makes me wonder if I should get the Sweet Beige gloss. One looked rather orange in the store, but maybe their lights were a bit to golden (thus me thinking Enivree would pull coral and it didin't). Ah, me. Another trip. lol Maybe in a few days I will go back and play. I really want that ridiculously gorgeous eyeliner!

And thank you for the compliment. MAC's Blankety is something I just pulled out recently and started using, though I have had it for about 6 months. Suddenly it has become a favourite because it really covers my mauve lips! If you get a chance, would you please make a list of your favourite nude lipsticks from any brands? I am using eyeliner more now, and softer blushes with neutral lips and loving the polished look! Better late than never!!

lol Me too! I love it! I also love the way Rosee just gives me a super gentle tint of pink and nothing more. I love my goodies! Yes, that is my motto now. Buy Both. Buy It All! Go Broke Happily! Yeehaw!

For nude lipsticks I like Chanel Mythic RA (I love the texture and it has a nice shine), MAC High Tea (lustre), MAC Blankety (which you have), MAC Creme D'Nude (but I have to use it with Subculture liner and but a bit of gloss on top or it looks too much like concealer)

For light/medium pinks: Chanel Magnolia (Rouge Coco), Chanel Jersey Rose (Rouge Coco), MAC Creme Cup (cremesheen), MAC Angel (frost, but doesn't look frosty on)

For neturals: Chanel Confidentielle RA (rosy pink peach), MAC Patisserie (lustre -- one of my fave neutral pinks), MAC Marquise D (peachy pink -- lustre), MAC Viva Glam V (lustre) and MAC Hug Me (lustre)

I also love Chanel Ming Rouge Allure Laque for a soft nude pink

Chanel Confidence is my favorite Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss -- a great neutral pink (slight mauve undertones)

I use Chanel Mica glossimer over a lot of my pink lippies and it is gorgeous. So are Rose Sand and Waterlilly glossimers. Magnifique is a brighter pink glossimer, but it is more pigmented than the others and I just love it with a sweet pink blush and neutral eye.

Awesome list! I think I have craved Jersey Rose in the store a few times. Or online. Most of the MAC ones I own and I do own Confidentielle, so I am doing pretty good! I also like Hue, Blankety, some by Bobbi Brown and RCS in Boy! Ah, I know I will be playing in the lip drawer tomorrow!! Thank you for the list! Scribbling things down!!

Rachel from Makeup Never Sleeps uses the holiday highlighter in this vid, and seeing it in action has got my blood burning already. I MUST HAVE IT! I don't have a subtle powder highlighter yet (most of mine are quite obvious), so this is going to need to come home with me. Or at least that's the reasoning I used to convince myself.
