Gorgeoous lipsticks. I need all 3! I hope they come here too, eventually.
I saw the Kate Spade lipsticks. Only 2 came here, Adventurous Red and Pop Art Pink. They are pretty, but I passed because I'm saving my pennies for Chanel.

Okay, so I went back to Chanel yesterday and my dear friend showed me how to use the highlighter so that it doesn't go ashy. It has to go on dewy skin if you're putting it on a warm skin tone... if you put it over matte skin, it looks a mess. So we mixed a little Dior nude and patted the highlighter on top, and it glowed really nicely.
They only had two left...

No, not really $8. But it made me so mad that right after I bought mine, my Singapore connection said I could get it from them for $8 less
I couldn't quit looking at every swatch & picture of that blush all night & this morning. I don't regret it a bit right now

I know... they're selling out everywhere. The thing is... it's much better suited to fairer skin tones... and that's fine. Chanel is doing very well with trying to cover all of the 'color' bases. Last year's highlighter worked better with medium to medium/dark skin tones... I have that one too and it's lovely.
I went to find the Guerlain Highlighter to compare, but it's not showing up at my local counters. It's just online.

I am really loving my La Fascinante Velvet sample. I got brave and wore it full on to the grocery store and liked it alot in outside light. I think you might really like it too. I got to try Famous yesterday and it looked harsh on me, but this doesn't.

It's called 'Adventurous Red' from Kate Spade. It's part of her Supercalifragilipstick Line. I talk all about it on my blog... I love all four of them!
I just ordered Pop Art Pink & if I like it, I'll get the red
And, I got my Blazing Gold es today. What an unexpected pretty soft baby gold es. I love it on. I'll do pics tomorrow.

So to veer us further off track, I checked out the Dior holiday collection today and OMG.
Nocturne is EXACTLY what I had hoped Famous would be--a pink/red infused with gold, and Belle de Nuit is a lovely orange/red/coral also infused with gold. I think I'm going to cancel my Chanel order for the GWP and grab the two Dior lippies instead.
I have swatches, but I just need to find my blasted camera cord...

Elegant--Love all the pink and especially those shoes. The heels are so adorable. Have you tried Footpetals Strappy Strips for the back straps that slip? These are great for that. I love Footpetal products. You can find these in stores or order online. They usually have a coupon you can get by googling for one.

Blazing Gold is pretty - soft yet pigmented, though I'm leaning more towards buying Beige Lame.No, not really $8. ^^It came yesterday afternoon. I like it alot, mostly for the black - it's so blendable and I really don't have any other black e/s believe it or not! This one is a nice soft black, perfect for me. The ivory is not that yellow at all, although given the choice I guess I'd like it more if it was even less so, but I understand that it's meant to fit in with the gold/red/holiday theme. I can see why it's not perm.
