Thanks my dear No, I didn't think that Caline looked similar to Rafinee - at least in my Macy's lighting. Caline is more of a kinda soft rose nude heather lavender-ish color. Kinda hard to describe.
Is Somptueuse the brownish one? If so, I didn't care for it - for on me. I really liked all of the colors except for that one. Fascinate is more of a true slight brighter red in comparison to Sensuelle which has a slight plum/berry to deepen the red.

I really really love Rafinee on!!! I had the brighter pink one on tonight & it stayed on so darn long that I had to use makeup remover to get it off. Its lovely with a sheerer application too.

Congrats on getting the chandelier lighted! It's worth the effort! Hahaa, it's funny the chanel lady is making you laugh! I could use an MA like that at my counters, they are all sooo serious. The MAC brush sets are impressive, I want to get the white set too, but I don't have budget for the duo fibres one yet. I'm hoping I can get that as a Christmas present. Thanks for the beautiful pics! I'm going to try La Raffinee from the sample card soon.

MaryJane, did you check what country you were in when you Googled to the Chanel site? Google always lands me on another country's Chanel site, never the US for some reason...probably because I'm always Googling non-US items, lol. But I think if the RAVs are not on the US site yet that might happen too. La Distinguee is supposedly an Asia exclusive, although Canada got it too. I guess we'll see soon enough.

Great pictures elegant! Thanks!! I'm so glad you have them now. What did you think of La Somptueuse? Did you feel like La Caline was very similar to Rafinee too? It seemed so in the only swatch I saw of the two together.

Oh, our son said that the trip to NY was a nightmare. My DIL called me late last night distraught. They had issues with the transportation bus tire that he took his students on to NY & last I heard, they would not be home until 4 or 5 AM!

Do we ever! Of course, some of us celebrate more than others. I've been running around taking pictures of everyone's lawn decorations/ displays, which can get quite dramatic and imaginative. I've adored Halloween since I was a kid. Even then, I just loved having the opportunity to dress up and paint my face, I guess.

In an attempt to keep myself patient until the Chanel even this week, I pulled out an old LE Rouge Allure that seemed nicely seasonal- Hysteria. I have to admit, though, I kind of enjoy building my own anticipation for these. I keep choosing, reflecting, choosing again, reflecting again... I will say that the colours are fairly muted, so they're generally less dramatic than I thought they would be at first. But that means that they'll be easier to wear on a daily basis.

I tried La Distinguee on when I was visiting Paris. I didn't show up at all on my pigmented lips. You might want to try some of the US colors on before you try getting it.
