I did get those 2 little pretties today

La Distinguee - on me its kind of a neutral/warm peach. It showed up beautifully on my very pigmented lips. Lovely

L Elegante - Is really really pretty too. It is a pinker Raffinee. Its more rose than Exuberante (sp) and not as bright/vivid pink.

I had so many ls on today my lips are sore

but I forgot to try on Spark. I will do that tonight.

I like the exclusive colors more than the ones on the US site. Do you know if there is any way to get them? I would love Distinguee. Would any of the stores in Canada ship to the US?

The US colors are really nice, so see if you can get one of those sample cards from a counter and try them on. If you still want some of the non-US ones you could try to arrange a CP or swap, or buy them on eBay. mrslid on here (from Perilously Pale blog) has Neiman Marcus ship to her in Canada from the US, but whether there's a store that does the reverse I don't know. Maybe mrslid or one of the other Canadian ladies here would know, or could give you the names of some stores to call?

A bit off topic for this thread, I was wondering how pirate compares to rouge carat. I love RC and was wondering if pirate is different enough to justify getting both.

I just ordered La Ravissante.ompom: I did a lot of searches for more swatches because I hate to order just one thing, but in the end it was just that one. I will wait to see the others in person. I bet everything that I will love Ravissante.

Elegant, If you don't mind my asking where did you order La Distinguee and Elegant from? People keep mentioning a 'cp' but I have no idea what that is, can someone explain? I've been trying the samples that I have and the texture is amazing

A CP is a Custom Purchase, where a very nice person who has access to the item you'd like takes pity on you and buys it for you. You generally pay them via Paypal, or buy them something they want that's available here but not in their country.

Thanks doll! They look pretty much like they do in MissQQ link pics. RC is more of a shimmer satiny looking Holiday red. Pirate is straight up gorgeous deep blue red. Its a dynamite looking stunner red.

I love how it looks on my lips.

A nice mua gave me a tiny tube of Spark when I bought Perfection Lumiere. It is gorgeous. It made me wonder how I didn't notice it before. :frenz:
