I really hope we get this collection in Ireland. Last year we didn't get one of the post holidays collections (stylishly yours). So far I would like the 2 lighter pigments, the quad and one of the blushers....I think it would be ironic if Ireland didn't get the Guinness collection ;)

They would both look lovely on you.
Aw, thank you. I have wanted them since they first come out so I'm going to have to go for them this time round. I was a little wary in case the grape one was too obvious on my skintone?

The nice thing about the ombres is that they can be built up. You do need to use a bit of a light hand with Vintage Grape, but I can easily get it to work on me and I think we're about the same colour.

Mmmm, Vintage Grape. I've got a weak spot for purpley blushes.

So far my list is:
Approaching storm, Seasoned plum
Azalea blossom, I'd like vintage grape but i'm pale and i'd get more use out of azalea anyways.
Aurora, Nebula or Circa plum whichever I like more in person.
I'd really like a gloss but i'm going out for new years and i'd like to budget. But if the makeup addict in me comes out I might get Narcissus. If I could i'd get it all!

yes! it looks super pretty and great for everyday looks!

no Lou, if you use a fan brush it could work, but there are other products that may appeal more and easier to work with. Katred is right, us pale girls can wear VG, but we gotta blend that sucker like were sandblasting old paint off the house...

My tentative list is:
Circa Plum
Seasoned Plum
Red Dwarf
Japanese Spring
Narcissus Dirty

As always, will check 'em out in person first so I may end up with a totally different set. That's the fun of makeup!

This is good to know. I always tend to apply blush with a rather large fluffy brush to diffuse the colour and go lightly, as on my pasty skin its easy to go overboard!

I got lucky this year and managed to bag 23-5 off but that was just fluke, most of the time christmas will be full on working.

I think us pasty ones need more VG swatches lol :)

I used Illamasqua's Cream Pigment in Depravity (magenta purple color) today underneath Briar Rose. And now I'm thinking I'm going to try it under Vintage Grape too.
