this collection is super pretty but i'll probably be passing, as i haven't been prone to grab my brights lately, so i don't need to buy anymore.

but on a side note, Iris totally reminds me of Edna E Mode from the Incredibles!

She does! At first I though Ms. Iris was the inspiration for her, but I found out it was another woman, a famous costume designer name Edith Head. Edna's bob reminds me of Ann Wintour for some reason.

I'm the same, obsessed with sugar pill... If I pick one up would be robins egg, depending on swatches
Yeah looks like I'll be passing on the shadows too, esp since I'll be going to Sugarpill for all my bright colored eyeshadows/piggie needs. Def getting a few lippies from this though :) So my list is tiny, thank goodness cause of the Daphne and Naturally collections coming.

I don't need another lipstick EVER. On the other hand, little treats keep me happy and it's important to stay happy. I'm really just saving other people from the misery of having to deal with me when I'm grouchy or depressed. So, now that I think of it, buying cosmetics is a really selfless act on my part.

These lipsticks are hard to pass up! Even though they are going to be sold out first like the ones from Quite Cute collection and was able to get all four of the lipsticks. Lately, I have been on a eyeshadow kick than hauling on lip products so the lipstick bandwagon will be hopped on again soon lol!

Agreed 100%. I love to buy a lipstick or just a little something makeup wise. It makes me feel good. It also lifts my spirits and I get all warm and fuzzy inside.

This is also true for me!!!! I just went on a makeup rampage due to being depressed. I lost another kitty on Saturday and was just sooooo depressed. I ended up buying Urban Decay naked palette & Tarte clay blush in Natural. I didn't need any of this stuff! Especially since I usually hold off for MAC. I'm super surprised I didn't buy out all the lipsticks I saw. Oh wait! I did treat myself to the new Yves Saint Laurent Violet Singuiler(sp?) lipstick for $30. I would NEVER have paid that much, but... it's a gorgeous blue-purple-violet lipstick and I was depressed.

Thank you ladies for your sympathies. Aradhana. My kitty Mushy was with us for only 7 months. We took him & his baby sister in after his mom passed away of cancer. She was a patient of my cousin's. Mushy was around 16 and just a gentle soul (my avatar pic). He just loved being loved. He got sick about six weeks ago. It started as an ear infection, but apparently it was a lot worse. It was cancer. It spread throughout his body very fast, but we didn't have a clue about it because we just had concentrated on his ear. On Saturday, November 26th. He couldn't breathe so we rushed him to the vet and that is when the vet said the cancer must have spread plus he had diabetes. The vet recommended we put him down due to his not being able to breath and the fact that he seemed to be in pain. This makes my third furbaby this year. First Aaliyah (age 9) which was a total shock. Then Martha (age 11) who I had known was ill for awhile and now Mushy. Last September we lost my baby Katie who was 18, but again we had expected it due to her health. Praying no more furbaby losses for a long time. My heart just can't take it.

True, true. I have a feeling by Spring time I will be tired of neutrals and ready for the birdie bright bandwagon, so these lipsticks will be just the ticket.

I'm so sorry for your loss, OctoberViolet. I cannot imagine losing not one but three furbabies in a year. Mushy was so young. I'm praying that you will not lose any more furbaby for a long time.

I was talking with a MUA the other day, and she said that we are going to get a lot of neutrals this spring. She did not go into specifics, but it could mean that there's not that many spring pastels as normally, but more muted/earth tones. - Althougt other brands seem to have a lot of pastels coming out.
Bummer, I'm not that into neutrals, or pastels for that matter (all the new IA l/s and 2-4 e/s are on my list!).
