^^ Hi Nora! I know, it is crazy that the Spring collection is already here. But I suffer from makeup ADD, so I'm kinda excited LOL
I want the stripey blush and the quad also -- I can't stop looking at the promo pics. I really am dying to see swatches of Paradis, Superstition, and Charm. I will probably only get one. And I totally don't need Bagatelle glossimer, but I will be getting it anyways (naughty).
How are all of your Christmas preparations coming along? Are your kids excited??

Does anyone know what the Jasmine powder is for? Is it an all over glowy powder or a highlighter? Probably too warm for my skintone, but it looks gorgeous in the pan.

Oh that's fast! Here it is not even "cold" so I am no way near of thinking about spring (or well, yes I do! It's hot!). On the other hand, Givenchy's new blush for spring 2012 may be competing with Chanel's. Check that out!

I just saw the collection at Macy's, NYC. They put it out last Friday and they are whipping through the polishes, the blush as well. Jasmin on its own is quite sheer, but over the blush it's gorgeous! Tigerlily shadow is tdf . The quad is nice but not special, I feel like I've seen these kinds of colors before. I got Superstition and charme l/s. the glosses are the usual pretty super sparkly gloss that Chanel does well. Will post more later as I am still out.

We are slow to start our Christmas preparations, but hopefully we will be picking out a tree this weekend. I still haven't gotten started with the gifts. Honestly, if I had any vacation left, I would take a day off to get things done, but I've only got enough to take the last week off with the kids. I bet your house is coming along beautifully! Are your girls getting more and more anxious?! My kids are so, insanely excited, and there's still a couple of weeks left!

Elegant, miss you too! Tons. I hate that I have to make an effort to avoid coming on here, but oh my, what a difference it has made... hubby and I recently took a day trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake and we got all sorts of stuff for the house and also a nice bottle of ice-wine (soooo delicious), and I wouldn't have been able to do that if it wasn't for the no-buy I've been on!

I will be making an exception for spring though, and may perhaps do that yearly.

Enjoy your congratulatory haul :) Almus, please do not tell me that you do not have winter yet, not what I want to hear ;) Hi Nora, Bonitinha, hope you are doing good. Thanks a lot for the pictures Ernie. When Canada get the collection in Feb, maybe we get it in March....

Ernie.. so nice to see you posting! thanks for the pics of the new collex.. in my opinion .. and take it with a grain of salt... I did not think too much of this whole collex. it seems quite dupeable and nothing really stands out. Not even the blush cause at the shows, the muas who did not have the prototype of the blush were mixing pink and peach blushes to get the same effect. And, in truth the same effect was gotten from the mixing.

Nora -- have fun putting up the tree! That is cute that the kids are so excited -- this is such a magical time when they are little, I just love it. Sounds like you've been able to go to some fun places and get some fun things for your house. Yay!

Bis -- I am doing well here. Things are getting crazy busy, but such is life! Next weekend I have to be 3 places at once -- I need to clone myself LOL How are you??

HG -- I hope you are going somewhere fabulous on holiday! So, do tell about Rrrrramon :) Hope all is well for you!

Thanks so much for the pics Ernie! Funny enough, seeing live pics killed my lemmings for some items...and made me start wanting other things. The quad and blush are definitely off the list now, they look WAY too light for me and as HerGreyness said I could just dupe the color by mixing my blushes (Reflex and Rose Tourbillon?). The Euro version of Eclosion actually looks more appealing to me, so I might CP for it. Tiger Lily is surprising more yellow than orange so...hmm. I'll have to swatch it, but my excitement for it is dimmed a bit.

I may walk away from this collection with just lippies. o_O

EDIT: Ernie, would you be so kind as to swatch Superstition and Charme?

Oh man, Superstition is DEFINITELY coming home with me, it looks like the perfect golden caramel glaze lippy! At this rate I'll probably get Charme, Chalys and Paradis as well...oh man. I just replaced a quad and blush with possibly all the lippies.

They seem to be perm though so I'll just grab Superstition and another that grabs my eye the most, along with Flirt RCS and Tiger Lily. When my back's feeling better I'll trudge over to my Chanel counter and try some RCs on, maybe find Chalys since it's already perm.

HG - Thanks for anti-enabling, as bis said. I feel the theme is not strong or perhaps inspiration was lacking in this collection. I thought you wanted the blush though! ;) Enjoy your trip with Ramon!

I want the blush, just because it is so pretty in the pan, and maybe one or two RCs. Everything else can probably wait and most of them are perms anyway. It's good to have makeup budget out of chanel to fund other brands. Perhaps I'm too tired or busy, I can't get myself into festive mood. Maybe I'll feel it closely to Christmas. I bought a carton of eggnog. It's the first time I ever see eggnog in my life, so how should I drink it? Plain or mix it with something?

^^MIssQQ -- you are so cute! I am not an eggnog lover -- but my husband is. He drinks it plain. You'll have to tell us what you think ;)

it's annoying that there is only the number on the glossimer, the name and number are on the boxes.
