Ok, I think I'm going to return Jasmin. I don't think the sparkles are 'big' per se, but they're definitely noticeable. I would never wear this as an all-over powder - can you say disco ball? Ugh.

Just say NO to the disco ball look. Well that's too bad, but then then its one less thing for me to buy ;)

Question ladies--what eyeshadow primer do you use with the sparkly shadows? Tiger Lily's giving me the same issue I had suspected with Beige Lame but now confirmed...the sparkles come off during the day and irritate my contacts. >_< I thought it was from the new mascara I've been trying out but when I wore only mascara the past few days my contacts were fine. I'm wearing Tiger Lily today and my eyes are bothering me again. Been using Too Faced's Shadow Insurance but I guess it's time to switch.

^^ I've only used UD Primer Potion or MAC Paint Pots. You probably need a really sticky base -- have you tried using a paint pot and applying the shadow before the paint pot dries? I still have trouble with fallout from some shadows sometimes. Would love to hear what everyone uses also.

Sounds perfect for the "Vegas Casino Night" themed work party we have to go to tonight LOL!
I'm with ya -- cannot have sparkles on my face or they settle into my pores :/

I always use UDPP or a Paint Pot, too, but sometimes I wet my brush with some MAC Fix+ before applying the more glittery e/s to prevent fallout. I also make sure I tap my brush well before going for the eye!

Well I was holiday/birthday shopping at Nordstroms and made the mistake of "passing by"

the Chanel counter. This collection was on display. They have had it out for about 24 hours, and several products are already almost sold out (blush, June np, quad, and flirt). After swatching away & as my AMEX cried out in agony, I purchased a few things.

I ended up with: the blush, the quad, tigerlily, june np, paradis, flirt, and bagatelle. I decided to get it all at once. I usually try to *fool* myself by making multiple smaller purchases - gives the illusion that I am spending less money that way. Today I decided to just go for it. I wasn't going to spend this much $$, but .....

My thoughts on a few products. I swatched Jasmin. It is (as Shypo was saying) a sparkly version of a pressed powder. I can't see using it all over my face, and it was a failure as a highlighter when tested. The MUA called it a highlighter, but it barely showed up on my skin. I commented on this to her, and even the MUA recommended passing on this product.

Rose de Mai is rather dull. It is like a lot of pink shadows that I have seen before. The chanel formula makes it a nicer product, but I am sure that I have a close dupe to it from MAC or another brand.

The other glossimers are really pretty in the bottle, but they are extremely sheer when applied. They looked just like every other sheer pinky peach glossimer that I already have. The are pretty much for layering over a lipstick or other product.

I liked april and may np, but they are too similar to other polishes that I already own. June was the only color that seemed unique. It will probably be the hardest to work with b/c it is sheer/light. But I am going to try.

I really like grenat, but I am going to wait since I read that it was permanent.

Now I have to decide if I am going to get products from the Knightsbridge collection online.

I use a paint pot too, also using the shadow before the pp dries. Sometimes a little spritz of fix + mixed with the shadow helps too.

For some reason I really like Jasmine, and I have some pore action. I wear it over the blush and it really looks pretty, there are a few sparkles but not crazy. I also wore it over a matte blush and it gave a very subtle glow.

I am up too early. I need to go back to bed. But I had to check my email and behold! My Chanel order is shipped out already with a delivery date of the 21st! I can't wait!!

...and I just ordered June and Flirt because if I don't I will be sorry! I plan on embracing corals and peaches this year!

Thanks for the info. Oh Wow! Sellouts already? I'm debating looking for the products this weekend or just making an order. Sometimes it is better to just make one purchase than to keep going back and making smaller purchases. I think I ended up spending more when I do that.

I'm interested in pretty much everything you got. Glad you love it.

I am going to order a couple of items. If I don't do it now, then I will end up stalking ebay for reasonably priced products later on. I have decided just to be honest and embrace my make up (ahem) *problem*. The question is which items. I don't need everything obviously.
