I am up too early. I need to go back to bed. But I had to check my email and behold! My Chanel order is shipped out already with a delivery date of the 21st! I can't wait!!

...and I just ordered June and Flirt because if I don't I will be sorry! I plan on embracing corals and peaches this year!

Please let me know how you like flirt when you receive it. We have the same coloring, but I'm too afraid it'll pull orange on me. If you like it, I'm sure I will as well, and I'll order it. I also got my shipping emails this morning, too!

I will! It was ordered just this morning, so it will be longer than the other order, but I am still hoping they might try to get it to me before Christmas. I decided to go for it because it seems to be one of the hotter items and with last minute shoppers mobbing the malls this weekend I am afraid they will run out and I would be sorry I didn't try. It seems to look pinkish-coral on some and coral on others, but after wearing another one of my RCS's the other day I remember they have a tendency to be a bit sheer so I am hoping it will look okay! I do love the formula for a nice quick and easy polished look, even if it is just to run a quick local errand or zip down to my mailbox in case neighbours walk/drive by to stop and say hello! lol You never know when you need to look good!

I got my order last night! The complimentary packaging is beyond gorgeous, by the way!!! The white and gold box is amazing. I'll be taking pictures of all of it later. The blush is so beautiful, I haven't been able to get myself to swatch it yet. I don't want to disturb the beauty yet LOL. Flirt RCS is more coral than I thought it would be, less of a straight up orange. It's definitely very different than Liberte. I will compare them when I take my pics. Bagatelle glossimer is so pretty! I love it, just perfect for spring.

I also got Khaki Platine from fall, and I love it!! So pretty. And Mirifique Illusions D'Ombre too, I can't wait to wear it with Epatant.

They are still having tech issue on the site right now. So, if your order is over the $100 you still need to check because the free ship is not working with that either.

And...she said there may be "new things" ?????????????????

OMG! I am gone 2 days and have almost 150 posts to read.

Just a quick thought or two. Yesterday I got Tigerlilly, Grenat, the blush, Jasmin powder. I also decided to pick up the quad and the Feerie powder from Holiday.

I haven't had an opportunity to try everything but here are my preliminary thoughts:

Grenat is definitely a reddish bronze on me. Very true to the color of a garnet stone. Gorgeous with green eyes and awesome wear time. I love it.

Jasmin is very sheer and does not swatch nearly as orange/yellow as some swatches I have seen. I will wear this a bit over the next couple of days to test drive but I really love it. The MUAs at my counter say it is their favorite piece of the collection.

The blush is lovely and I can see myself pairing it with the new Clarins liquid blush I picked up yesterday.

Tigerlilly is gorgeous. It reminds me a bit of MAC Juiced. I am not quite sure what to do with it. I will have to play with it a bit.

I have not played with the quad but I can see it being a nice neutral eye for work. I don't have anything quite like it.

I didn't get any of the lippies because they were just too sheer for me.

I like Rose Mai e/s but didn't pick it up. I feel like I have a dupe in my collection somewhere already.

Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy or TF Glitter Glue

Question ladies--what eyeshadow primer do you use with the sparkly shadows? Tiger Lily's giving me the same issue I had suspected with Beige Lame but now confirmed...the sparkles come off during the day and irritate my contacts. >_< I thought it was from the new mascara I've been trying out but when I wore only mascara the past few days my contacts were fine. I'm wearing Tiger Lily today and my eyes are bothering me again. Been using Too Faced's Shadow Insurance but I guess it's time to switch.

Elegant -- I am intrigued by the new things they will have! What is up with all of the tech issues on that site? Ay yi yi -- don't they know we have money we want to spend?? lol

Gail -- keep us posted on any surprises on the Chanel site! Didn't they offer free 2 day shipping last year as it got closer to Christmas? We'll have to keep an eye out . . .

I did a look today using tigerlily in the crease and the quad for the rest. I have already had multiple compliments. I was wondering what to use tigerlily for, and it seems to work as an unexpected crease color for me.

I wanted to add that I think that Jasmin might be one of those love it or not products. I wasn't a fan when I swatched it. I have read both great & not so great reviews on it. I suggest swatching before deciding.

Thanks for the suggestions ladies! I actually had Groundwork PP but swapped it away a few months ago as I wasn't really using it much. >_> I hate it when that happens! Though I might just get TF's Glitter Glue like mac_aiken suggested as beside from these two shadows I've never had any problems with TF Shadow Insurance.

Bonitinha--ohh, if Chanel does free 2-day shipping, that'll be the final push for me to order Belgravia and Grenat!

May I rant for a moment here? NM's customer service is TERRIBLE. I did a CP for a friend and not only did two lipsticks arrive smooshed, but they sent me the wrong gloss color. Returned everything for exchange, and not only did they send me the wrong color gloss again, TWICE, but never got around to sending me the new lipsticks. This is nearly two months after I sent it back originally! After I received the wrong gloss color a THIRD time I called their CS and let them have it. Cancelled the still pending (!!!) lipstick exchanges and sent the offending gloss back once more, then ordered everything from Nordstrom. Never again, Neiman Marcus!

Reporting back for Elegant- I wore Mirifique today with no staining. Although I was wearing it over Epatant, so I'm not sure if that was why it didn't stain. I'll keep you posted when I wear it alone.

I stopped by Nordstrom yesterday to "look" at the collection and I caved. I got:

• bagatelle

• June

I also got a ton of skin care samples so I can't wait to try those. I forgot to check out Grenat because the MA was doing makeovers and the display was empty. I did try Meteore glossimer but they were out. I'm thinking this color might be discontinued because I didn't see it on Chanel.com. Plus I tried to buy another Pleasing glossimer but they were sold out too. I have one back up but I'm almost out of my first Pleasing. I've never used a color so much before. I thought Meteore looked a bit like Enivree with Pleasing on top so I thought Meteore would be a nice alternative.

Went to Nordies today & got to play with everything

I bought
Rose Corail lip pencil - a beautiful pinky slight rose coral but soft. Its lovely on but even more gorgeous with Bagatelle over it

Mirifique es (Rinstar ) which I also bought. In fact it looked so amazing when I put the two (Orchid Rose) together, the chanel MA wanted me to wear it through the mall for advertising

she is so sweet.

I kinda liked Jasmine & may pick that up yet. Loved Charme ls which will be here Monday.

Also, I wore MAC CCB Root with the darkest color in the quad over my lid, dark espresso brown liner, but then under my lower lash line I wore a dark navy with Grenat liner softly smudged under that. Navy looks amazing with that es & Grenat liner.

The Chanel lady showed me what the Chanel MUA dude uses for the eyelid - Source liquid shadow - if you put either (or any color I guess) the Rose de Mai or Tigerlily over it - wow beautiful! She said the guy chanel mua always use those liquid shadows under all the eyeshadows.

Elegant -- How fun, sounds like your trip to Nordies was a blast. So glad you love Charme -- I may have to get Rose Corail lip pencil to go with the Bagatelle gloss. I just can't wait to get my hands on everything to play. Did you happen to swatche the other rose lip pencil (the pinkier one)?
I love that she wanted you to be a model for advertising! You could've worked out a deal there

I had such a great time. We ate at the Nordies cafe which I love. On Sundays they have Chicken Potpie soup - yummy! Its my favorite.

I thought RdM was very pretty & I may end up with it also at some point. Its a soft slight peachy/soft slight rose yellow based pink, very soft & pretty, It looked really nice over Source but I would wear it by itself maybe in the crease. I do not have any other color like it - well, that I know of
