It is a happy day!! I am really loving charm and the new spring blush -- it really does have a perfect glowy look.

What goodies did you get from JCrew?? I got a skirt and 2 of the jackie cardignas (I love those and want to get them in every color!) I really need to stop buying things!

I LOVE the Jackie cardigans! The gal that played Marilyn Monroe in the new movie actually wore these in the movie. I got a pair of the Matchstick jeans in black, the plaid cropped pant, the herringbone pant, 3 skirts, and the Hacking herringbone jacket in Flame. JCrew had the best sale going on this weekend in the store so I bought our DIL three pairs of really cute tights & socks. I think they ended up being like $6 a piece. Perfect stocking stuffers

Went to Nordies today & got to play with everything

I bought
Rose Corail lip pencil - a beautiful pinky slight rose coral but soft. Its lovely on but even more gorgeous with Bagatelle over it

Mirifique es (Rinstar ) which I also bought. In fact it looked so amazing when I put the two (Orchid Rose) together, the chanel MA wanted me to wear it through the mall for advertising

she is so sweet.

I kinda liked Jasmine & may pick that up yet. Loved Charme ls which will be here Monday.

Also, I wore MAC CCB Root with the darkest color in the quad over my lid, dark espresso brown liner, but then under my lower lash line I wore a dark navy with Grenat liner softly smudged under that. Navy looks amazing with that es & Grenat liner.

The Chanel lady showed me what the Chanel MUA dude uses for the eyelid - Source liquid shadow - if you put either (or any color I guess) the Rose de Mai or Tigerlily over it - wow beautiful! She said the guy chanel mua always use those liquid shadows under all the eyeshadows.

What color is Source? - the pink one or gold?. That seems to be the only 2 colors left in the liquid shadows. I really like these. I wanted to get one but I had to trim down my purchases. Maybe next order. Anyway, I wore my new Goodies today:

Eclosion quad - after using Mac Bamboom paint as a base, peach shade on lid, pinky nude color in the crease, white golden flecked color to highlight and aubergine color in the outer V. I lined with Mac Avenue fluidline but I think next time I will try Mac Dark Diversion to replicate Grenat and see if that works.

Soft Glow Blush- I put this one on this morning and I just noticed that there was a brush in the box.

Sweet Beige lipgloss - I was going to use Bagatelle but I thought it might look too springy on this cold day but I'll try it tomorrow.

Its the one in the Spring collection - Pink. Although in person its like a neutral almost beige pink at least in Nordies lighting. Its amazing the change it does to the shadows - brings them alive & very elegant looking. I think they are only selling the 2 now - the rest have been discontinued.

I like your name better than theirs and it does look like sunset! I am jealous of all your glossimers! I have 6 right now, plus Bagetelle coming, but I think I might be getting more from the summer collection. You must tell me your list as I love pink and every shade of it!!

Hmm...I still have my box with my blush in it and check. No brush to go with it. I can't check the bag because that and all our other trash went out today. Bah. Oh well. I rarely use their brushes and use my Sigma or MAC brushes most of all. My Chanel ones feel a bit scratchy to me.

I dunno, something about it just strikes me as pretty bright...maybe because I'm more of a red gal and less of a pink one, so I'm not used to bright pinks. I'll give it another go with some makeup tomorrow, it probably looked so bright since the rest of my face was so nekkid. Glad I didn't order Kensington after all, if Hyde Park was this bright on me Kensington would probably be neon!

! It looks like Bagatelle glossimer! I wonder what HP + Bagatelle would look like...

Elegant, you mentioned one of the new lipliners a few pages back...was it Rose Corail? Would it match/work with HP?

I think it perks your whole face up - which the colors in this collection do amazingly well.

Oh Wow that sounds really pretty - I will try that too. Yes, it was RC. I think it would work very well with HP. I will note however, that the lip pencils have an almost ...just a tad sticky feeling BUT they really last on the lips

Purplerinne -- I actually got out Joyeuse right after I got my package to compare -- Joyeuse is much more of a cool clean bright pink on me than Belgravia, which is a rosier pink.

Elegant -- oh, I love that they used the jackie cardis in the Marilyn film. They are so cute -- I love them belted over skirts or jeans. Sounds like you got lots of fun stuff! I love getting stuff on sale there.
I have gotten out the Brompton blush quite a few times. I am afraid to swipe it. I am going to wear it tomorrow with my Belgravia l/s

Oh, here's a little funny. While I had chanel cs on the phone today to order, I mentioned that we got this lovely calendar set as a gift from Chanel last year, & have you heard if they are planning anything this year

She said she hadn't heard anything yet. I said the calendars were really nice, but a charm would be wonderful. She said oh thats a really great idea.

Just got the blush, Paradis, Bagatelle, and Rose Corrail. Can't wait to use them!!

Question on Grenat, though, and maybe the quad: Does anyone think the colors may make someone look like they have red allergy eyes? I tend to kind of look like I have red-rimmed eyes with some colors. But I love the colors in this collection! Thoughts?

Chikky~I did not get Grenat (yet) for the same reason, but I have the quad. If it looks at all red on me I plan to use a brown liner on my lower lash line (UD) and put a bit of brown in the very smallest V in my outer corner to just brown up any redness, if that makes sense! If it doesn't look good on you, just brown it up with a fifth colour from another Chanel quad or any favourite dark brown that you have to make it less red in the corners.

elegant - lol Maybe Santa can buy you something else from Chanel... You hauled at JCrew! I wish we have JCrew here, their clothes look very good! Abercombie & Fitch just opened in my country, in the new mall called Knightsbridege (yet we don't get the Knightsbridge collection). Are their clothes good? They look like they are more for very young people. And Chanel beauty should hurry up with their gifts for their valued customers (or top spenders) lol!

QoS - HP looks gorgeous on you. It actually matches the top you are wearing, which we can spy at your shoulders.
