Are you getting a Chanel belt for X'mas? Lucky babe! I think I've maxed out all my Chanel requests for X'mas so far!
I am still hopeful for Jasmin then - argh, itching for end of the month to arrive! I noticed in an earlier post you had a look at Source liquid shadow? What do you think about it? I keep thinking it would be really suitable for re-creating the Spring Chanel runway look....

P.S The Valentine’s 2012 Womens Chanel collection is really gorgeous! I am drooling at those beautiful shimmery pinks that are going to do so well matched with all this new makeup (that I will be getting?)!!

Source may be a bit shimmery for me, but maybe it was Nordies lighting. Its very pretty though. Like a beige pink. But, what it does to the shadows when you put them over it is amazing.

Looking at your pictures and I'm just in awe! The X'mas packaging is really nice, love that giant snowflake smack in the middle! Thanks for putting up the picture of both Brompton and the Horizon.. initially I favoured the looks of the Horizon more and thought Brompton might be too pink for me.. but now I realised Brompton might be actually more suitable for me!

Oh man, that Chanel Valentine's collection is

! I have to keep reminding myself that I want to save up for a medium 2.55 for my 30th bday this year, and maybe a wallet to match...so much want, so little funds.

At least I'll be (hopefully *crosses fingers*) working again soon. I'm such a tomboy though, I'd feel silly wearing such a chic bag with jeans and a t-shirt. Maybe if I throw on a blazer over said t-shirt...*ponders*

Then again the cost of a 2.55 would buy a LOT of makeup...

Ugh I just sucked up in the Chanel whirlwind. I am now shortlisting the Asia Spring Chanel le Blanc collection and also the Chanel Summer collection - and it seems like all the release dates are so close to each other!

Back to the Spring collection though- has anyone bought the Illusion d'ombre #81 Fantasme and #82 Emerville and the Ebene eyeliner? Because I love the whole clean white look and I think it would be really enhanced with the Les Harmonies range!

Hahha, thank you! Yes, my bank statement has rapidly dwindling since the beginning of this month. It doesn't help that I am a huge hoarder and bought twins of some of the Holiday pieces (and it's only my first Chanel collection!)
The Chanel Valentine's is really unique to me - I've been hankering for a silver reissue.. but I think I might switch to a piece in this lovely pink! A 2.55 is a great investment though - and given the rate that Chanel keeps raising its prices, you should just bite the bullet and grab one when you can! And you only turn 30 once I'm a tomboy too but I like the multiple ways the chain can be adapted for a more fluid look. I just got a WOC for early Christmas and I think it's really versatile too - very nice when slung cross-body for a very casual, chic look with skinny jeans and ballet flats.

Yes, he truly is - I am sooo incredibly lucky!!! All the MUA love him no matter where we shop because he's so patient & it really doesn't bother him how much I spend

But in fairness, I do the same for the things he likes too. Prolly why we've been married 32 years

Yes, I have those eyeshadows & pencil. They are lovely lovely BUT sparkley. Somehow the sparkles in these shadows don't bother me because they are so elegant & pretty. I love that clean white look too. Another option for the white, would be Platine (clean white) es which is gorgeous & buttery soft & very clean looking with a simple thin black top line.

Update on my Brompton blush and Belgravia RA: (I am wearing my navy Jackie cardi and feeling oh-so-preppy!)

I was a lil sad to swipe my blush because it's so darn pretty -- but the color is lovely. It really gives a lovely pink flush. Almost like that "blushing bride" kind of pink. I love Belgravia. It is a little bit bright on me, but very wearable and pretty. Looks pretty with Bagatelle glossimer swiped on top, too. I think the brighter pinks give a youthful look (or is that just my wishful thinking??).
In a nutshell, I love everything I got! But I love pretty, wearable colors. The stripey Spring blush is gorgeous, too -- the finish is just so perfect. I think it would look great on lots of different skintones.

Well, I am off to Target again (even though I supposedly swore off that place during the holidays!!)

I love that snowglobe! Wow! Me wants! I am counting down the hours to when I expect my Chanel order tomorrow and the next one arrives on Thursday, so that was fast! Of course, never fast enough. Until them I really don't want to use my blushes until I've taken pictures for my blog, so today I paired Charme up with Tarte's Blissful blush and it looks fabulous! Fresh, sweet, a nice everyday look. Charme comes out as a very soft sweet pink on my rosy lips. Sadly Chanel doesn't put names on the bottom of their glosses, but I paired it up with #267 for the ultimate shine! Please tell me I don't have to throw this out within 18 months like it says on the bottom. I want to keep it until it acts or smells weird!

elegant, ElvenEyes--thank you! You really think Hyde Park goes well on me? I dunno, something about it just strikes me as pretty bright...maybe because I'm more of a red gal and less of a pink one, so I'm not used to bright pinks. I'll give it another go with some makeup tomorrow, it probably looked so bright since the rest of my face was so nekkid. Glad I didn't order Kensington after all, if Hyde Park was this bright on me Kensington would probably be neon!

I think it looks lovely on you! I don't find it overly bright at all and it seems to pick up on some lovely undertones in your skin.
