Aaah! My order just arrived! OMG. Brompton Road is like a pink diamond! It didn't have this shimmer in the store. Sadly that will probably disappear, but it sure is pretty under the Christmas lights! Bagatelle is going to look so sweet with Hyde Park. Lovely Corals for me. I LOVE Kensington! What a perfect cool pink! I want a backup! Belgrava is also super lovely and falls in between the other two! Loving Tigerlily e/s and can't wait to play with it. I am so going to use it like my MAC sunset look I created. May is the perfect girly pink nail polish. I have a feeling this is going on my nails Dec 26th! No fancy box. Just everything shoved in a black canvas bag, again. Boo hiss. Flirt and June arrive tomorrow. I need to dig into my Estee Lauder package now, which is all wrapped up lovely in golden tissue paper! Oh, I swatched Joyouse next to these and it is lighter and more sheer than Kensington, in case anyone wants to know. These lipsticks pack a punch of pretty, which is what I was hoping for.

What? No snowglobe? No free Chanel charms or clutch? Hmm....

ElvenEyes you've got me so excited - I can feel you all the way from where I am!!! Could you do the sunset look using Tigerlily and post it up? I would love to see how you do it so that maybe I can duplicate it when I get mine!!

I JUST saw this collection yesterday. All of the lipsticks were a pass for me. The colors are just... blah to me. I liked one Glossimer (the pink one), Tigerlily shadow, the quad, the blush, the highlighter (ugh, I need another one like I need a hole in the head) and the Grenat Pencil... which is a MUST have for me. I got a backup. I did the same with Rose Platine, and I'm ever so glad that I did.

I'm wearing the quad today. The colors are DIVINE... and simply saturated. Really beautiful.

Was that you who mentioned the hooded Asian eye? Anyhow, I saw this ad somewhere & she had hooded Asian eyes & the makeup/her eyes were stunning! I just spent a half an hour looking at it so I could post the pic here but I cannot seen to find it now. If I do, I'll post it here.

Thanks for the compliment! *blush* I would love pictures of the hooded eye model if you can manage to find it - after all it's useless if I buy and hoard all this Chanel and not learn how to wear it eh? I think MissQQ mentioned she also had a problem with hooded eyes. But honestly, I would trade in my cheekbones in a jiffy if it meant I could have those deepset, gorgeous eyes with full lashes like you ladies! All I need to get higher cheekbones is stuff myself at Christmas but no way am I going to get bigger eyes!

BTW your table looks incredible and I'm pretty darn sure there's no crumbs or dustbunnies in sight! There is no way a woman who is so diligent with her Chanels could possibly allow dust to reside anywhere!

2 years sounds fairly decent to me because I was hesitating about the glosses. I don't get much wear out of them generally and it would be a pity to just bin $45 a piece if they go bad real fast.

I agree with you, though. These are extremely wearable colours which is why I am so drawn to them and Chanel as a whole. After some wacky, wonky collections that MAC has put out lately, many that I have passed on and don't even pay attention to these days, it is refreshing to get back to more usable colours and shades on an everyday basis. This is what is drawing me back to Estee Lauder too. I love their lipsticks, as well. I think I am going to have fun with the Dior Spring line! But right now I can't wait to get Flirt and June. Does anyone have Flirt compared to RCS Aventure? I am wearing the latter today (see photo below) and I keep going crazy imagining Flirt as come kind of chalky peach colour and it is scaring me! lol Hopefully it will look awesome!

I think Flirt is very Beautiful on! Trust me, there is nothing chalky about it at all. Did you get to see my swatch on I think pg 17 or 18. Its a sweet tangerine peach with pink undertones & lovely shimmer. No, it does not look like Aventure. I don't think there is anything too close to it.

Aha! Not scary at all! And RCS's are sheer, so it is all in my head. That happens when I order something and then feel like I am not sure about it. Like furniture. It starts off exciting, but while I am waiting it grows 4 times in height, twice in width and has an appalling colour to it. Then I get it and all is right in the world again. lol

I will! But it is basically something like this. Yellow, orange, pink and purple going across the eyelid. It was a super fun look in the summer so now I want to create a slightly different one for spring! I will have fun picking colours out! But Tigerlily is definitely going to be one of them!

Just put Hyde Park on. Best coral lipstick I have ever own. Looks fabulous! I have do use some of these tomorrow. I can't wait anymore! I want to wade deeply in coral and pinks and pretend I am on some tropical shore, with a makeup bag full of Chanel and a load of books to read and escape the world! I am so thrilled!!

I hope you get the box next time! They should just send them out with every order -- strange that you had to click on the box saying you wanted it. Very pretty look -- love it!!

I have hooded eyes but I got used to wearing eye makeup with them, only that I can't do cat eyeliner looks. They used to be more hooded when I was a little girl and my double eye lids were not visible. Now they are half visible lol. I do fear that as I age, my upper lids will get droopier as what I have seen on some women with hooded eyes.

elegant - Source is shimmery, but not as shimmery as the white shade Cascade. After you apply powder eyeshadow over it, it is less shimmery while the colour of the eyeshadow is more intense. Pity though, my Source is useless now. I added toner to it last night as it had dried up, more than what was necessary as I couldn't see clearly in the dark, in fact till the tube overflowed lol. I gave it a good shake and left it overnight. This morning I wore it but after 10 mins my eyes stung and watered so I had to remove my eye makeup. The colour and consistency also changed, so bye bye to the tube. I added a bit of toner to it before and it was still good then. According to the Asia Chanel website, we still have 7 shades at the counters.

Michelle - I'm thinking of getting Naked 2 too. I didn't buy Naked, because I feel it has too many warm browns which I don't need. Is Naked 2 cooler and less glittery? The cardigans are so pretty! So fun dressing up your girls!

OMG you are too! Helloooo! We should totally meet up! I've got another friend who is the only other person who I know who is totally wonky over Chanel make up too! Or shall we go view the Spring collection together when it's in? Or wait, you're not living in SG? Heehee. I still cannot figure the hooded eye tricks.. I find that when I wear eyeshadow, nothing is usually visible! Otherwise the reverse happens and it looks like a rainbow above due to the large area after the eye.

You have the same problem as me too, I didn't buy Naked either as I had a truckload of browns, but Naked 2 looks promising but I have no idea if Sephora is going to bring them in.

I just went to Ion yesterday but we only have 2 colours left - Source and this greenish hue one. The SA told me that the remaining colours were LE and they don't stock those anymore. I don't really know if the Ion peepz know their stuff so I'm going to go MBS later today instead.

I love your eyes! And all those pinks look lovely on you! And I enjoy reading your reviews on your nail polish - we don't have Butter here and they look simply divine! And you should totally click on giftbox the next time too - I got my purchases wrapped yesterday for the hack of it and I think I'm in love with the box! It's like so super pretty sitting on the dresser.
