HELP -- I just got off the phone with my MAC SA and she said Iris Aphel is not coming to The Bay, only stand alone stores, and I don't have a stand alone near me. I guess I'll have to go off of swatches.
I'm NW20 with light brown hair and blue eyes. I'm pretty sure I'll get Robin's Egg and Early Bird but I really wanted to swatch the lipsticks.
Any suggestions?? Thank you.

Not sure how Flamingo will look on me but I am certainly going to buy it! Seeing the comparisons for Scarlet I'm thinking it's a skip for me.

I can't remember the last time I bought any MAC...but I love pigmented matte lipsticks so I'm intrigued by this collex. I want Flamingo and Party Parrot (only if it's more red than the swatches show)

I wish that I could see more swatches to finalize, but I think I am sticking with party parrot, pink pigeon & diamond dove. On the maybe list (like a second order) will be flamingo-and I am betting this lippy sells out first-scarlet ibis and silver gull. Robin egg is gorgeous but I don't think I will use it.:eyelove:

Those are the two lippies I picked up too! My Iris box has been sitting on my counter since Tuesday! I haven't gotten to play with anything yet, and I'm getting antsy to do some comparisons and looks...

How close (or different) is it when compared to the myriad of other matte cool browns that MAC makes? Is anyone head over heels for this color? I am intrigued, but I took it out of my cart at the last minute because I have SO many cool browns and I am afraid it is not different enough....

I did the same thing for the same reason! It looks very much the kind of colour I usually go for, but I don't feel confident enough buying it without having swatched it in person or at least seen more reviews/swatches online.
The only thing I've ordered (so far) is Party Parrot. I think I might skip the rest of this collection as I don't really wear bright lipsticks very often (other than reds), and the eyeshadows don't really look that unique (except perhaps Early Bird which I think would look pretty awful on me). So...I *may* go back for Diamond Dove, but that's about it.
