Ikram - Thanks, I can't wait to see Cruel Gardenia. I called my counter and they have no idea when it will be launched. The SA told me March, and I was like, "What? So late?" and then she said maybe February. lol. Usually my Guerlain gets new collections very late so no surprises there.

Michelle - Good to know you feel better!

elegant - Good to know you are progressing well. Yeah too bad I have to wait, I feel no one will be talking about horizon here by the time I get it. But never mind, I joined in the fun when you all got it early.

I got a call from Nordstrom the other day and was given a $50 gc for being a valued customer. I went straight to the Chanel counter and ended up with Horizon blush. I was looking at Jasmin but it was too "soft" for me and the lipsticks were a little too drying....still SUPER happy that i got this blush for $8 =)

Jmarie -- do you have a favorite pink nude color by change from Guerlain?? I was just looking at Sabrina's swatches of the new Burberry Tulip pink l/s -- haven't tried Burberry yet, but it looks very nice.

Winthrop44 I searched high and low for a Chanel pinky nude with no luck. I didn't want just a pinky nude gloss because it didn't last for than a few minutes. Enter Guerlain G Gabrielle #60. It isn't quite the perfect pinky nude it really more pink but, the formula is outstanding. It lasts, doesn't dry my lips out, doesn't feel heavy and has a glossy finish. I really don't feel the need for lipgloss with this. For comparison, Chanel's RA's & RC's feel dryer on my lips than the Guerlain G and the Coco Shines only last 2 seconds on me.

Jmarie -- I am writing down everyone's pink nude recs. I want to check into the Armani 103 which Gail recommended. I will have to check out Gabrielle, too. That one has been on my list. I also have Gardenia on my list -- have you seen that one in person? I don't have a Guerlain counter near me, so I have to go by online swatches.

Miss QQ, I did get Grenat and I really like it. I think if I got Eclosion, since I already have Grenat, I'd want to use that darkest color on the outer half of my lid or at least on the outer corner, and I'm afraid that much of that color - as opposed to just as a liner - would make me look tired like Kaska Beige. I guess I'll skip it with you.

Let me know if you get Gabrielle. Too bad there's not Armani here. Did you check out YSL Rose Bermasque that winthrop recommended? I haven't, as YSL is only available at the DutyFree Shop which is harder for me to get there.

winthrop - Maybe I can use the shade in Kaska Beige wet as a liner, and then I can skip Grenat. I'll let you know if I try it.

Hi guys. I have to say that I am very dissapointed in June. I applied it yesterday and the consistency it horrible, I don’t think I have ever had more watery and runny polish, the brush amost doesn't pick any color as it is too thin. Really don’t like it and am on the fence of returning it as i think if I pay $25 for a bottle of polish it should be way better than that, I dont expect it to be perfect, but definitelly better. I am wearing it today and I LOVE the color. So don't know. Anybody else has this prblem with June? Honestly, it is the worst Chanel polish I have up to date and even worse than drugstore polish, probably one of the worst in my collection as whole and I have all sorts of polish, inluding Maybellline, Revlon and 99cents Wet&Wils and Sinfull Colors.

I didn't get Candeur because it doesn't last at all. If that doesn't bother you than it is a pretty color. For me it is like have a lip balm in pretty packaging and wasn't enough worth the money.

I looked online and swatches were gorgeous. When I get to a better mall, I am going to check out the YSL, Guerlain, and Armani colors.

I swatched MAC's Nebula pigment Sunday. It swatched a really pretty med./dark browned gray but then faded to just a light medium grey. It kind of reminded me of a tad lighter BB Fog.

I got one from my local health food store and I got one online for my daughter because when she gets a cold she coughs like crazy for weeks and this thing really works for my sinuses too! The brand is called Himalayan Salt Inhaler ( I bought it from their website), it's this little ceramic green thing and there is some pink salt at the bottom covered and apparently you don't need to change the salt for a year or two, so all you do is breathe for like 20 min, it's so easy to do and it doesn't taste or smell or anything, it's like breathing regular air. You should try it, I know how painful sinus issues are

Hi Cheryl! Great that you managed to get the three powders! Have a safe journey!

I attended a chanel event where they collaborated with a florist and we got to watched a demo at the florist shop and then each of us got to do one arrangement which we could bring back! We also got some light refreshments and a gift bag which consist of: mini Legend RC, mini No 5 perfume, a brooch, and sublimage eye cream, serum and cream. It lasted about 1.5 hrs and I had a great time!

Same piece on another table.



Very exquisite! And its perfume so its very concentrated. Not sure if I'll use it.

at the end of feb I am going to chanel for a masterclass, they are one on one sessions for $50 redeemable on product and I am spending one hour with an artist that is flying down.
It would be so nice to get something other that a foundation and perfume sample.
I probably have the equiv of a full bottle of No. 5 with all the samples.

I want a gwp or what Miss QQ got.
Honestly! I would purchase so so so much more if chanel did that for me

sweet!!! maybe Dior...or a new pair of sandals....i think what they are trying to do and what the manager explained to me was to have a personal shopper in whatever dept we shop at the most. I had a fave Chanel person but she left so now I have a new person who had done my makeup with the CHanel spring collection. While i was getting done, the manager came over with another employee from the clothing department TBD and she gave me her card.

My friend has a personal shopper and everytime something new comes in she gets a phone call...
