I've had my Party Parrot in a box contemplating its return... But after seeing all the people who missed out on these lippies, I could NEVER do that now! Knowing it will just end up in a dumpster really upsets me. So, I will keep her and learn to love her on me... She just SO darn NEON! Bright I like, Neon intimidates me...

May I ask what people? They came and went so fast people don't think there was a restock and I think most here can say that some of those people at MAC don't know what they're talking about half the time. When I ordered mine they ALL were in stock. If/when mine arrive, I will be living proof that they did in fact restock.

I have done bright before, but the Neon is what keeps me from reaching for it. I plan on using it this weekend on a night out. I won't give up on it... especially knowing so many wanted it and couldn't get one. I owe it LOVE! Thanks for the encouragement doll!

I am also proof, Flamingo & Pink Pigeon sold out a few minutes faster than Party Parrot & Scarlet Ibis, but they were definitely all there. When I came to post here that they were in stock they all were in stock & I had placed an order for pink pigeon.
and YAY today I woke up & in my inbox I had gotten my "your order has shipped" email from mac" woot! now I just have to hope ups doesn't screw up my package *crossing my fingers*

I ended up placing 2 separate orders. I first ordered Flamingo and Pink Pigeon. And then after sitting and contemplating for about 10 minutes, I decided to place an order for Party Parrot. I've received a "your order has shipped" on the Party Parrot so far.

If you don't you can sell them for a ridiculous mark up, not that you would, but you could easily swap them for something hard to find or sell them for retail to get a different lipstick you do love.

UGH! Im still so sad...at first I was over missing out but now Im sad...i dont need another lipstick in my life but flamingo was calling my name. O well...more money for other collections. I hate when MAC does these limited stocks though.

Im crazy in love with my scarlet Ibis and hunting the postman every day waiting for my pink pigeon to arrive. Im thinking for the first time in my life of getting backups of these when they are released in Australia

I'd planned to eventually get MAC "Embrace Me" lip pencil, shown here in an eBay photo, because it's a color I wear a LOT, but when I went to the MAC site, I saw those dreaded words "SOLD OUT."
So I did what any resourceful MAC addict would do, and quickly dialed customer service (from memory), and they had a few left.
So "Embrace Me" will be mine, after all!
I think it will be a wonderful color for spring/summer.
Just had to gloat a little ...
Even though I was not going to buy even one more thing this month, now I'm perversely congratulating myself for self-control, because when the representative asked, "How many of those do you want?" I meekly replied, "One."
