Really? I should go DJ and ask today... cause Myers said it was online or freestanding store [which is chapel st]. Should be 6th then because Naturally gets into stores on the 6th.

I haven't asked my DJs yet about it but I dont really plan on getting anything. I've got my Party parrot and 2 Flamingo lipsticks so I'm good for that. Budget for makeup is a bit tight this month cause I'm buying foundation and I need a new palette PLUS there are new nail polishes=D

Yeh I had to get a back up of Pink Pigeon and ended up cutting back on Shop / Cook to get this one. Only reason I am getting it from Aus is that its gone in the states

I would definitely suggest getting a BU of Pink Pigeon if you like the color...I am kicking myself that I didn't

Me too, I supposed to get 4 lipsticks and one lipliner and left without this one

, I couldn't imagine myself wearing it.
They still have it, Is it a must have?
I forget to mention that I liked the orange liner more than I thought, and will go and get the pink one too.

I like a few different things - I really like a deconstructed look with SI. I love it just worn alone with no other makeup except some brow pencil for accenting a fuller eye brow and maybe some mascara (I grew out my brows last year because it was looking like the 80's was back all the way

).

Another look I love is also simple, where I use Early Morning blush all over the cheeks and over the bridge of the nose, so it's almost more like a bronzer sun burn effect, and then some SI and we're done. This look is also great adding some blue or purple mascara. Alternately, you can downplay the blush and use more of a straight bronzer like Goldstone MSF and add matching colored eye pencil to your colored mascara.

Of course, there's the 'ole retro thing with cat's eye liner and a pale matte face, but I'm feeling like that's a bit of a retread. If I'm going to do winged liner with SI, I prefer to have smudged kohl liner in both waterlines and smudged under the eye, for a punk rock look. I also think I prefer a more dewey finish on the skin, rather than really matte, so no straight out of the bottle Matchmaster for me with this one.

I also like Diamond Dove a lot around the eyes with it, but I don't much care for a sparkly neutral eye or a neutral eye where the color is trying too hard to match your own eye skin color with it - too mainstream for me, I think. Matte grey shadow softly aroun the eye could work too - I've been meaning to pull out Gazette Grey from Pret-a-Papier to try with it.

Ty to Liba and Princess Sarah, I will try those ideas. Still not sure I will be brave enough to walk outside. Especially today, there is a foot and half of snow on the ground. Not Springy at ALL.

Well, it IS red - that's a more all year round color than bright pink or light pink! Be brave - what's the worst that can happen? Boring, square people might stare? Lol. give 'em something to talk about and shake up their boring day!

impassioned is the dupe.. seriously is the same thing. i wouldn't sweat it if you have impassioned or can get a hold of it.

I wish I could get hold of Party Parrot. I did get it with the order I placed the day it came out here in the UK, but when it arrived, it had a very odd smell and taste to it, as if it had gone off. I loved the colour, though. I phoned MAC (as it was no longer available online) and they said they would send me a new one out, but when it didn't arrive I phoned them again and they told me they hadn't been able to send it as it was sold out, even though they'd assured me it was in stock and they were sending me one.

They've refunded me, but I'm still without Party Parrot I don't want to have to pay ebay prices for it

I wouldn't necessarily call it a dupe, depending on your skin tone and lip pigmentation, BUT I am feeling pretty confident that either Party Parrot or a similar color will come around for Summer. It's such a great color - my favorite from this collection, which is saying a lot since Scarlet Ibis is a HG red for me.

I would be very happy if they re-promote Party Parrot. It's a great colour
