It's always so bizarre posting pictures online lol. I was snapping some pics and pretty much saying to myself, "ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....don't like, ew, why, disgustinggggg" whew!

Dish It Up and Narcissus are definitely my new favorite lip combo

I'm so glad I got BUs of each of em!

Ok, I love the look on duckrodeo so much that I want Dish it Up and Shop and Drop.

Would Dish it up work on me? I'm NC/NW 15 with brown eyes and red hair.

I think it would look lovely in contrast with your red hair it's pretty sheer - the way I applied it looks way more opaque because I did a layer of Just Wonderful lip pencil to cancel out my lip's pigmentation, and I put Narcissus over the top to really get the purple pronounced. In other cases, Dish It Up is pretty sheer and should play very well with lip color. I just chose to do the lip pencil because many times shades will just look like red lipstick on me.

Awesome! It's such a gorgeous shade on its own or layered with other shades in the same family! I think tomorrow I will dabble in layering it with Fresh Amour mattene from Posh Paradise. Let's see if I can get that purple to really pop

Purples on Parade! lol I need to check out Girl About Town. After all this time it hasn't made its way into my Lipstick stash. I always seem to forget about it since it's a perm shade. Meanwhile Plink, Craving and Speed Dial get my perm love.

I actually do have Fishnet but thought power boosted was more purple. But you have confirmed that it is close. My fishnet is almost gone, but its the main reason I wanted the shop drop quad. I can always get Fishnet in the individual shadow. I dont really need a dark blue. So thank you for saving me again I was actually thinking of making my own purple quad instead.

As promised with my swatch comparisons of Dish It Up, I tried out my Shop & Drop quad paired with Dish It Up lipstick. Here's the look I created last night!


Excuse the cell phone pictures, I don't know where my digital camera is at the moment! I tried to use my make-up mirror to give some sort of natural daylight glow..I also don't know what the hell went wrong with my eyebrows (!!!!) but that sparse side is usually somewhat hidden by my bangs anyway lol.



I attempted to use Shop & Drop minimally, so that the lipstick would more or less speak for itself. For reference and comparisons, my skin leans more toward NC15 (though rather neutral undertones).

Sugar Snack was applied all over the lid
Hynotizing was placed in the inner corner, and inner half of the bottom lashline
Power Boosted was applied in the second outer half of the lid and into the crease blended toward the browbone, as well as the bottom outer half of the lower lashline.
Shop & Drop used solely in the crease to smoke out and blend with Power Boosted
I also used Urban Decay Virgin as a brow bone and inner tear duct highlight

I used Just Wonderful l/p to line the lips and fill it in (my lips are very red, so sometimes they eat up lustre colors), I then applied Dish It Up l/s and paired on top with Narcissus cremesheen glass.

My cheeks have a mixture of Vintage Grape and Coygirl blush

Thanks Icedcaramelatte, you look lovely Duckrodeo! You are making want ShopDrop but I have so many similar colors in my stash! But lavenders. lilacs. and purples really make Hazel eyes pop! Decisions , decisions.

Well on me it pulled as a red, with some pink undertones. I'm sure whatever it pulls on you, it will be lovely. I think this is just a lesson to me, that I can no longer rely on her swatches. I wouldn't have bought it had I seen it on her first. It is pulling brown on her, and brown is such a funky color on me, no matter what it is mixed with.

I haven't put anything on hold at my counter in since forever and they are giving me a hard time about holding items from this collection. WTF? Girl told me to call to speak to the manager on Wednesday...ummmmmmmm. I will be calling back tomorrow and if I get the same deal then I'll be going down there on my lunch hour. She told me they got like two of everything from this collection...unreal. I only want to hold one Quizzle lipstick, two fluidlines and a kissable lip color...just one of each! I am so annoyed. I get why they MIGHT be doing this, but I am a frequent Macy's customer who buys one item. Grrrr.
