Chanel Le Blanc Collection 2012

The Edwaard Bess looks gorgeous. I haven't tried cream highlighters before because I've been afraid of breakouts and how well they would work with my oily skin.

Also I do a quick dusting of powder after I finish all my makeup to make sure everything is blended well. If I use a cream after foundation how will the powder work over it? Will it make it cakey or invisiable?

I have seen the pixi woo sisters on youtube do this -- apply foundation, then cream blush or highlighter, then dust with powder at the end (concentrating more on the oily zones and very light in other places). I don't use cream products due to my skin -- but I think they look so fresh and pretty!

I have been trying out samples of the Le Blanc skincare and am really liking it so far. I feel like it really brightens my skin. I might even purchase full size of the entire line. Has anyone else had a chance to try it? I previously was trying La Mer's The Concentrate and Moisturizing cream and lotion. I felt hydrated with it but, it felt heavy on my skin even with proper application. I stopped using it because I found some clogged pores.

I can't seem to find the full ingredient list. I have a lot of redness and it hasn't bothered me one bit. I am going to continue using the samples before purchasing, just in case.

Riviere looks like it's duo chrome and I love it!!! Thanks for the link

I tried the whole line, and it definitely brightened my skin but also broke it out. :/ Found some natural skincare that did the same thing but more effectively so I'll never touch Chanel skincare again.

What is the natural skincare line that you found? I will check it out.

I'm finding the serum very nice - but am having problems with the cream - difficult to absorb into my skin and making it feel all greasy.

I just got Riviere and the sparkles are gorgeous! The gold sparkles are a little larger than the green, and when applied with fingertips, produces a very nice layering effect :)

Just need to clear up a few things. Is this a pic from a US store? I'm still dying for Reflex and Rose Tourbillon. Thanks.
Thanks, elegant!

I think you all should go to the studio!

The studio has a comprehensive perfume section and we can make an appointment for a special olfactory journey to discover what scents we like most. I've been invited when the studio just opened but I couldn't make it then so I've never been to one. The layout of the products are better too, and they have special displayers for promoting new colours or matching nails and lips colours that Chanel has been doing a lot recently.

Reflex is very gold. Candy is more orange. Rose Tourbillon is more pink. Espiegle is more peachy.

Epatent, Riviere

I wanted to ask you, Is the YSL gel liner ok for the waterline? I bought the black - very nice, but didn't know about wearing it on the WL

Thanks for posting Elegant! Fleur de Lotus indeed looks incredibly pretty, but also pretty dupable. Money saved!

I'm just waiting for my kind CP buddy to let me know how much I owe her and then I can look forward to receiving my Riviere Illusion D'Ombre! Exciting! :)
