I am dying for a Mythic RA but it's impossible... is there any dupe (or similar) in the RA range?
^^ I don't have Flamboyante unfortunately so I couldn't compare. But from swatches I recall Flamboyante had coral undertones which Romantic definitely lacks. Romantic is neutral berry red, no warm or cool undertones. I would say a more subdued version of MAC Craving:
Tope to bottom: MAC All's Fair, Chanel Romantic and MAC Craving
I would say it will look great on everyone but especially on light skin with dark hair, it adds such a great rosy glow
Any idea what it will be? More moisturising? I look forward to it and hope there are some pretty shades!Karla just tweeted that Chanel will be reformulating the Rouge Allures. The new version will launch in the fall in 18 shades (6 reds). Maybe you'll find something similar to Mythic then. I guess this explains the lack of new RAs recently.
I love the new Dior Addict extreme lipsticks. They are creamier and longer lasting than last year addicts.Yup, hope we will like the new RAs more! I'm more looking forward to see the new lipsticks from other brands this time: Dior Addict Extreme, Lancome Rouge In Love and Guerlain RA Shines. I hope they make it to my counters, Lancome don't launch everything here, I never got to see the L'absolu matte.
I'm nervous about the new RA's too! RA's are my fave lipstick formula....well behind RA laques which don't exist anymore :'(
Yep -- hopefully they don't ruin a good thing by changing the formula! Maybe they will bring back Mythic and some other faves.
I saw the new Dior lipstick/gloss hybrid lippies. I wonder if they are comparable to the RAL's??
You could de-scent your Dior lipstick by leaving it open for a day or two, should be much better then.^I'm hoping Chanel doesn't change the scent. I prefer no scents at all in my makeup, but my one Dior lippy made me realize Chanel's pretty tame in comparison. If I didn't love the color Nocturne so much I would've returned it in a heartbeat, I nearly gag every time I put it on. hboy: I've always wondered--aside from packaging, what *is* supposed to be the prime difference between the Rouge Coco and Rouge Allure lines?

Rouge cocos were supposed to be more moisturizing. I generally find them the opposite though.
