Ladies, just to let you know that I've been wearing Island n/p all week with no chips or wear at all, which is unbelievable for a Chanel polish. It's a really pretty color.

I think I'm going to get the Rose Bronzer after all

I swatched it again today at Nordies & loved it. Maybe it was the terrible lighting in that Macys which I have noticed before. I left it on the back of my hand while we walked through the mall & had lunch. It seemed like a very very soft kinda glowy pale rose gold - kind of like rose gold jewelry only very very soft. When I wiped it off with a tissue it left a lovely lovely soft rose color. Its in my cart.....

The Rose bronzer really does look so pretty. I've only resisted so far because I never really wear bronzer....

Well, I just ordered it. It doesn't really look bronzer-ish in person. I don't wear any bronzers either. Its more like this rosy glow hint of something - almost like a no makeup makeup look. I just hope I love it on my face. I think it could be lovely over other paler pink or nude blushes.

hi ladies! I just got back from the vacation and trying to catch up on here. So much to read, u ladies have been chatty Mexico was amazing. Lotsa sun, sea, food as well as sight seeing in Playa del Carmen. The only bad part was that I got very badly sunburnt on my chest and knees despite frequent SPF 70 application some of the burns are still on my body after a week and are still red/purples :'(

After looking at the swatches and reading reviews (thank you all btw), I will be skipping Calypso as I have Nars Wonder already. Also the bronzers don't tempt me anymore

So it will be the 3 nail polishes and the duo (the duo's a maybe) for me. Still not sure when we'll get this collection here.

Sorry to hear about your sunburn! There is something about the sun in Mexico that seems to cut right through sunblock, though. I was down in Los Cabos a few years ago and FRIED, despite obsessively covering myself with SPF 60. Hope you heal soon!

FYI, I was downtown today and stopped at a couple of different Chanel counters, but the collection wasn't there yet. Everything seems to be arriving in a hodgepodge this year. Murale has Nars Summer, but Holt's doesn't. Murale and Holt's have the new Guerlain Shine Automatiques, but Shoppers doesn't and only Holt's has the Emilio Pucci collection... Plus everywhere I go seems to have different permanent collections... It gets hard to remember which things are in which locations...

Thanks very much for the swatches- Elegant, you've made the duo a definite for me, because it looks exactly how I wanted it to. I'm actually kind of glad that Calypso looks like Wonder, because I loved the colour of Wonder, but I like the glossimer formula much more.

Sadeeh - Ouch! The sun in Mexico must be so strong I can't imagine. Here in the tropics on the equator, I never got so badly burnt. But then I don't lie on beaches, we don't really have them. Hope your burns go away quickly!

winthrop - lol you caved for Island. I can't wait to get it after hearing all the raves.

elegant - Can't wait for you to get Sable Rose. It seems the love for this collection is growing on us.

Sabrina has compared the two bronzers this year with last year's. They are different, I think this year's look more like true bronzers, but they are very soft.

They both look promising, but I am afraid I will have to try them before purchasing because they may not show up a lot in my skin. Although I can always use them as a highlighter or on top of other blushes (there is one better than me to enable myself

They both went slightly ashy on me with minimal color payoff. I'm NC43 for reference.

My counter had an event for a GWP. I ended up getting sable rose. I am nc30 and it looked so pretty on me! It's like a rosy glow, I didn't get sable beige because that one reminded me more of a bronzer, and I already have a few bronzers

Katred - thanks, I think the sun was pretty strong. I got burnt in Dominican Republic last year too but nothing compared to this. I know what u mean about different stores here in Canada being random with their releases. I haven't looked at Murale yet but I'll check it out soon coz I want my Nars Summer. And still patiently waiting for Chanel Summer at my Bay. Holts is a bit of a pain for me to get to. It's in the business district downtown and I don't have the patience to drive there during rush hours and look for parking.

Miss QQ - Thanks. I always get burnt, even here in Ottawa during our short summers just driving home or walking a few steps outside :/ but never had I burnt like this. I'm thinking being pregnant has messed up my already sensitive skin even more.

Did anyone mention any dupes for the coral n/p? I know for sure I'll get the other two but the coral one looks kinda familiar. Maybe like something in OPI, Essie or Zoya line.

I'm wondering about that too. I'm NW25 ish and seems like these are more for paler skintones. Though the rose one does look pretty but I don't want another highlighter if that's all it will be

I got the eyeshadow duo over the weekend and I have worn it every day since...which is only yesterday and today but whatever! The bad thing is that now I want another Chanel duo...I want Misty-Soft too, so I'll have one cool one warm!

I've decided that the only coral lipgloss I need (or any summer LE lipgloss for that matter) is the Guerlain one since it looks much more pink than the others...I just can't pull off orange at all!

When I purchased this,the MA applied it as a bronzer and it definitely made me look like I had been out in the sun but it still looked natural. I've been wearing it as a blush and it looks like a bronzey rose gold (that looks great with the e/s duo).
