MAC So Reel / Reel Sexy discussion

Reel sexy l/s is gorgeous! I love it! only thing is my lips are quite pigmented so the my lip colour kinda peaks through the lipstick.
can anyone advise me a perfect lip pencil to go with reel sexy?

I've been looking at lasting sensation from the tour de fabulous collection :) I don't know if its close to reel sexy or not.

uhhhh sorry XD yep they match quite well although Shore leave is pinker... anyway I prefer Reel Sexy alone because with Shore leave it's super bright, almost neon.. it's not easy to see a big difference from my pictures but on me together they are too strong XD or maybe I only have to get used to it!

I see... Yeah, I don't think I'd want it brighter either. May just stick with BEE's suggestion to use a brown lipliner w RS to tone it down.
Might still pick up SL to play with. Do you like SL? What will you use it for if not w RS?

Im still thinking about it!! I want to try it with Flamingo.. or by itself with a gloss on top! I should see how it looks with Watch me simmer... or simply with pink lipsticks!

I wore Pink Popcorn for the first time today and LOVED it!!! I got tons of compliments and my friends were asking what I was wearing. I love that it's a sort of subtle pinky purple that I can wear to any event in my life without worrying that it's too much.

Thanks for the swatches! Shore Leave does amp up the neon-ness of RS just a bit. I have a coral lipliner from MUFE (18c I believe) and its way too bright for my corally lipsticks. Shore Leave is kind of similar to it but a bit more muted down but still a bit bright than I'd like judging from your lip swatches in the HS thread.

SL is perfect to wear it just with a gloss on top!

I have tried several glosses and loved all the combos.It is also very pretty as a base for Au Rose Suntint

Whats everyones opinion on Resort eyekohl? Is it a good purple liner? I have UD's purple liners but they are pretty dark.

Hey guys if you're looking for a lipgloss to wear with Heroine then check you stash for Revenge is Sweet lipglass from Venomous Villains. Its perfect. I dont have a pic of me wearing them together but here is a photo of a swatch of the lipglass by itself. This used to me my fav purple lip combo but now i swap out Violetta for Heroine!


From left to right: nyx purple rain l/l, Mac Violetta l/s, mac Revenge is Sweet l/g
