I NEVER get PRO shipping codes! Do you have one?
I ordered last night with 2 day shipping and my order says tomorrow!! YAY!!

Well, I was a hair stylist for part of my life. Have had my membership for a while. LOL!

Dental Hygiene is my second career(15 years in since graduating from UTDB) AND I am about ready for another one. Thinking about being a Lifeflight nurse...

Who says we have to stick with one career throughout our lives, right?

Def know what you mean. I've taken time off to relax and see what direction I want to go in next...life is too short to not do what inspires you and makes you happy. Good luck in your future endeavors!

Yes. You can also go to most pro stores early to purchase products before the general release date without being a pro member.

YOU CAN?! My office is about a 15-20 minute walk to the Toronto Pro Store. I've blocked a hour on my calendar tomorrow so that I can hopefully take a run over. Even if I can't buy, maybe I can at least swatch and be sure what I want to order the instant it goes online.

I think my list is Sail La Vie (my fave MUA insists that I buy this) and a bronzer. Maybes are Crew (likely too cold) and Fast Fleet. I'm a bit worried about how red it looks in some pics; I get redness in my cheeks and red-toned blushes tend to exaggerate that and make me look drunk. Depending on how Red Racer pulls (cool vs. warm), I may get this or may wait for what I assume will be kick-ass reds in the Marilyn collection. The gold and green liners are maybes as well. I'll be happiest if I can go swatch away and make good decisions. I hate buying items that I won't use. Waste of product and discretionary spend budget.

I can't WAIT to go check this out.

Taking time off to relax and regroup sounds amazing. I hope I can do so at some point in the next six months when I can get back to working on my next degree and finding a new job.

Yes, being an RDH is great, but you can get burned out. It is a wonderful career... I love my job, love my patients...but sometimes I want to do more. I need more chaos in my life, I guess...I am too settled and complacent at the moment.

I know I will need at least another two years for that career, but I feel like I need a change, and I need that adrenaline rush and love helping people at the same time. So yeah, I think being a Flight Nurse would be right up my alley.

I'm a Registered Nurse and I LOVE my job! It's never boring, I'm always learning, and I'm constantly on my toes. The shifts are long but to see my patients doing well at the end of the day makes it all better.

A flight nurse is a great career, but most require 3-5 years of critcial care or trauma experience. Maybe ER, ICU, or trauma would be up your alley as well. These units are very busy, very fast-paced, and would be perfect for adrenaline junkies like you.

Yes, that is what I am looking for.

And I look at it like this...all I have is time. I can look back 5 years from now and say, "I should have done it..." and could have already been there.

When I made my choice to go to school to be an RDH, I just did it... I was a stylist, sold Avon, did demos in stores AND I also worked as a waitress(nights) as well as working my ass off in school. I am ready to add another career to my belt, so to speak. I need a challenge, and live for that...
