Girl, Heroine with black shadow and/or very strong black winged liner is almost the only way to work it, other than just put on the lips and avoid everything else. That looks fantastic on you - I'm don't even understand what you aren't liking here

The only thing I can think of is maybe you're getting used to wearing dark shadow again now that you've grown your brows back in all the way? I find I sometimes need to apply the black shadow not as far up into my crease when my brows are fuller, or not extend it outwards as much on the sides, but from this picture, I think your application looks gorgeous. I hope that's Dark Dare!

I dunno but i dont like the eye look. I think that's what it is. Me and dark blue shadows JUST DONT GO TOGETHER :/ I took heroine off (first thing i remove when im removing my make up) and I didnt like it even without heroine. It might not be the lippie but I feel that either a pin up or a matte smokey with nehru or just a smoked out liner with 2 coats of mascara might work better.

What happens when u hate dark blue????? I can't like it!

I think the eye look looks great together with Heroine on you. I wish I could pull that off, I'm jealous, LOL.

dont be ridiculous. we are skin sisters (not twins but...close enuff!!!!) do u even have it? with this lipstickk thought I recommend a PERFECT skin. as in full coverage, not a crazy contour or blush. if ur skin is perfectly even ANY dark lipstick works. us <NW25 gotta work that skin before having fun.

I look crappy in most dark blue shadows too - it's a combo of my skin tone, especially around my eyes, and it clashing with my eye color. The only dark blues that are good on me are Blue Flame (which has enough black), Dandizette mega metal (kind of greyish) and Imaginary p/p (lots of purple undertone). Even then, I don't wear them much and prefer them with nude or very soft MLBB colors, or they look harsh. I can wear dark blue eyeliner and mascara, at least.

For what it's worth, I didn't even like blue liner on the eyes with Heroine - it just wrecks that color for some reason. Green, purple, grey, burgundy, gold and black liners all rock, though!

Go back and give Dark Dare a try with Heroine, maybe with a little Rich Core if you want extra color, and you will love it! I wore it out last week with DD accentuating some really punk liner (Wholesome) and my bf was all nutty for it. Sort of a Tura Satana effect:

Hey, since we're on the subject of what shadows we've been wearing with Heroine, here's my list of looks I tried out and liked:

Bough Grey + Palladium
Early Bird + Added Goodness
Dark Dare (with and w/o Wholesome and/or Feline)
Blue Orbit (no liner)
Odalisque + V greasepaint stick in waterlines (loved this for going out)
Venetian Tarnish + Below Ground gps (love!)

Next, I want to do something with Unsurpassable and green mascara and maybe dark green liner in the waterline - that's going to look really lovely, but I need to figure out a good outfit to wear all that with.

somehow I'm not digging heroine with dark eye looks... i thought it would be a somewhat vampy feel... but NO saaaad face.

I wore pink popcorn this mning with sakura on cheeks and just mascara and let's skate on lids. I looked fresh. liked it for a "OMFG I'm so late to class!"-look

I am running out of ways to tell you how beautiful you are... But I wanted to remind you anyways!

I'm wearing Heroine today with a matching new dress (it's the same colour as Heroine in the tube). Looove this kind of purple!

I don't remember RS being that bright on me. I have to wear it again and see.

Duo #3 is wonderful. As far as the others, 1 shade stood out and was nice and the other fell flat. So no need grabbing those if only 1 shade is a winner! But Duo #3 was a must-have for me. I love it. And even with all my MAC palettes, quads, duos, and tons of es from other brands... I didn't have dupes for either colo from Duo #3 in my stash!! HTH
