You made me think of peanut butter oreos. I don't think they have ever made them but that might be good. Ya, if I eat cookies in my house I have to share with my daughter and husband lol.I can't even eat oreos in public. I eat the whole box and the delicious chocolate sticks to my teeth like it's peanut butter. LOL! It's just too much. I enjoy them at home or at my mom's house. It's been some time since I've had them thinking about it. Time to go buy some oreos.

I just did a MAC Chat because I was curious about the shelf life. It's apparently 24 months for this product. I asked if she was certain because it's a cream, and she came back and said that was the specific shelf like for this product, not the general one.
I'll be interested to see how long these do last - I hope it's that long for those of you that have them.

You know it! Oreos & Broccoli ruin a smile quicker than anything. Boy are those 2 foods on the opposite ends of the spectrum. I do love broccoli.

Well, I have stuff from years ago & I have never had anything kill me, irritate me or go bad except for the N collection glosses (can't remember the collection name) that were just manufactured to smell/taste bad.

Very cool. Maybe they are lipsticks in a pot so they have the lipstick recommendation for shelf life. That would make sense as MAC's shelf life recommendation is 24 months. Altho, their lippies last longer than that. But, I am glad that they will last at least a couple of summers if they are correct. I'll use it until it goes bad.

I'm actually not so surprised at the extended shelf life you were told.
These Casual Colors don't have the usual emollient base you see in cream blushes or in pot lip glosses. Instead of some combo of oil/water/wax that could separate or "sweat" or otherwise break down, I was impressed at the very stable formula - it's some sort of super smooth, high tech gel-ish thing, like something straight out of the medical supply. Just as long as you use clean tools and keep the lid screwed on tightly, I think these will stay in way better condition than stuff like the Cremeblend blushes.

I came in here to tell you ladies that I went back to pick up out for fun and now I'm craving oreos!!
Out for fun looks awesome on the lips. It stayed on for a while. I'm going to try it again tomorrow with Orange Tempura on top.

Woo hoo! Thanks for the MAC Chat sleuthing Audrey C! I'm relieved I can get some extended use out of WG, KIC and OFF. My beefy heavy duty cuticle pusher works great for keeping them sanitary and only scooping out the product I need. My WG just shipped today from Nordstrom and I have yet to break in KIC for use. OFF is definitely a fav for me right now, though!

This shelf life info makes me even more comfortable with getting Have a Lovely Day this Friday. I have WG and OFF and love them. I think HALD will work in cooler weather as well. I'd get KIC too if it weren't for Heavenly Creature at the end of this month beginning of next month. Hopefully some of these will still be around in July.

KIC is an amazing colour! I so wish I'd be able to make this formual work for me. I have enough oranges that I can dupe OFF and not miss it.
