I've been a member for a while, but haven't been active in about a year before the Launch. I'm LOVING everyone's swatches!

That being said, has anyone noticed the Universal Appeal MES being similar to Trax shadow? When I swatch them, they are almost identical. Is it just my swirls?

has anyone compared RoS to NARS orgasm and deep throat? Or spring sheen/coralista? I just feel I have seen it somewhere...How different is it from fleet fast and modern mandarin?

Can I ask why you skipped MBs??

I really only buy products when I am a 100% sure that I will really wear them, i.e. wearing them more than once or twice. If in doubt, I skip. Although I had pre-ordered all four MB's, I really did not "feel" them, so it was a good decision to skip. I really buy make up to use it, not to collect it. And while the MB's seem beautiful (and I had some pretty neat swirls on hold), I just prefer regular powder blushes. I think the swirls in the blushes turned me off; not visually, but how they ultimately swatched on the skin.

But all four MSF's I picked are beautiful and will get a lot of use. However, Earthshine will not replace my Metal Rock or SP Goldstone.

Today I went to the Pro Store and I was the first to swatch everything !!!
I chose the swirls that I want (he show me every MSF he have = almost 20 of each) so I can choose the one I prefer
I'm really in love with the MSF !!!

Ya my excitement is really fading for RoS after seeing allura's swatch....I may have to see it in store. However I am loving the look of fire sign. I may get that next.

I can't wait till morning to place my order. I hope the free overnight code still works so I can get my pretties quickly. Thanks everyone for all of the swatches. The only thing stopping me from ordering everything is my bank account lol. Oh, and my husband who just doesn't get it. Someone mentioned about everything in the world and makeup making them happy. So, very true! Makeup doesn't care if you carry some extra pounds and anyone can enjoy it without worrying about whether or not their size is in stock. Makeup is forgiving.

Ring of Saturn is probably my favorite at this point... when used lightly, its a really pretty coral

I don't have Springsheen or Coralista, but I can compare the others in a bit when I am home! I wouldn't be surprised if Ring of Saturn is a familar shade, but I am a coral fiend so I have all the ones you mentioned lol. I'll compare RoS to Stunner, too!

I just compared it to a bunch of things...its got a bit more red/pink shift to it ...most other blush have a gold shift... I compared it to:

Orgasm (lighter and gold shift)
Fleet Fast (flatter and more of a strawberry color)
Coralista (gold shift)
Springsheen (gold shift)
Stereo Rose (much more orange, not really similar at all)
all the tarte blush...not quite the same at all

Alright enablers! I skipped cusp of dawn, yet I kinda want it...I'm afraid I will look totally washed out and regret the purchase...I'm nw25ish. I LOVE LOVE LOVE galaxy rose, so should I just stick to galaxy rose?

Bonus! These are comparison swatches with other cremesheen glasses. Geo Pink vs Meteoric - Star Quality vs Astral - Loud & Lovely vs Galaxy Rose Meteoric is lighter than Geo Pink. I would also say Meteoric has more pink/yellow in it with gold sparkles, while Geo Pink has white/silver sparkles. It may look like the only difference between Astral and Star Quality is that Astral has sparkles, but I don't think that's completely accurate. Star Quality is definitely more coral. Astral is also slightly darker and more pink. Galaxy Rose is darker than Loud & Lovely. Loud & Lovely seems more of a fuchsia color with blue tones in it. Galaxy Rose is more of a magenta color with red tones in it.

Star quality is beautiful I think I am going to add that to my list

I had to tell you all this - I think I found the rarest of creatures. A man who doesn't think having more than two lipstick is odd.

I was showing my husband the ridiculously large box MAC sends to ship even a single lippie (I don't hide orders - we each have discretionary money to save or spend as we wish) and I mentioned that I've really had fun rebuilding my collection but that I'm going to slow down now because I want to keep a manageable (for me) amount. He slid my makeup/nail polish drawer open (everything I have still fits into one of those expandable plastic cutlery inserts) and said, "This doesn't look like that much makeup. Don't most women have a makeup drawer or something?"

Granted, I don't have a huge stash, but it's a reasonable size. A couple of dozen OPI polishes, a couple of dozen lippies/lg, a dozen or so blush, foundations/primers/powders, some single e/s, 2-3 quads, a 15-pan palette, liners, fluidlines, etc. He even suggested that I should get what else I need in the US this weekend if it's cheaper. I loves him.

I got my stuff today - really like all of it (Star Wonder, Stratus, Venus, Fire Sign, and Ruffian Gold).

I'm tempted to get backups of the lippies (I really like Lustres and these colors work really well on me) but I have enough lipstick to last until the next ice age and I really don't need more (but I want want want more!).

How do you guys think you will use the MES, more specifically, Magnetic Attraction? All the colors swirled together then applied or individually? I never had any luck with a MES eyeshadow (I have Jade's Fortune from Semi Precious and I NEVER use it and some from the Rodarte collection that are still boxed). I plan to get Mag Attraction but not sure because it is a MES..How do you all use them?!retty:

I use MES both ways. I wore Magnetic Attraction yesterday all over the lid over a paint pot, with another MES Twilight Falls in the crease. Today i wore Universal Appeal in the crease with Snow Season MES. Jade's Fortune I find I can do almost a whole look using just that shadow. Mine is veined so that I can really pick up the individual colors. So I use the yellow in the inner corner, then the green kinda all over the lid, and the blue in the crease! Hope that helps! Also, how do you have Rodarte MES? I always wanted them and never found any.
