Some people were mentioning that the MSF's are eye safe are the MB's as well? Was just curious. This is my first time with mineralize products. I know I'd be super nervous using them wet unless I wetted the brush after getting the product on it. Sorry for the random questions but am new to these. My first order arrives tomorrow (or today depending on your time zone) and I can't wait.

I really loved light year. I just thought star wonder wouldnt work for me (NC40-42). But now I'm having doubts. All these swatches are killing me. I think I might check out the counters this week!
You and me both!

Thanks to Macy's (and my mom), I ordered ring of Saturn, center of the universe and supernova. I *think* I am done now. I dunno why but the shadows didn't appeal to me...

A positive test means that you are indeed pregnant. :)  Congrats! Is this your first? Just relax you have 9 months and pregnancy is something that is life changing. I would buy what you want if you can swing the cash and enjoy while you have time to sit and put on your makeup lol. I have a toddler and of course I got really into makeup after having her and it would've been so much easier when I was still pregnant. I hope your feeling well and that you have a happy and healthy 9 months.
Yes, our first! To be fair, I have bought 2 MSF, 3 mb, 2 MES and 2 lippies from this collection. Oh and astral! You are so sweet! Thank you for the words of encouragement. I have a doc appointment today just to make sure.

When I was pregnant with my first and went to see my doctor, he asked if I'd done a test and if it was positive and then said, yes, you're pregnant, congratulations. That was it.
Hehe! I guess I've heard too many horror stories and just want to check.

I think I'm officially done with this collection. I have 4 products coming in today and I ordered Venus off of Nordstrom last night, so unless I'm still thinking about Galaxy Rose next paycheck, I'm definitely done! I will try to post pictures when everything comes in, but I don't have a great camera. I have a new cell phone coming in tomorrow though, so we'll see!

Congratulations! I've never heard of a false positive - my doctor told me that they're virtually mpossible since the tests are designed to detect even trace amounts of Beta HCG (only produced by pregnant women). False negatives are more likely if the test is taken before there's enough of the pregnancy hormone in your urine to trigger a positive result.

Enjoy your pregnancy. :)

I ended up picking up Fire Sign last week as well; I like it a lot and I'm glad I got it. I hemmed and hawed about Ring of Saturn but I got the opportunity to swatch it and it's just a bit too shimmery for me. Instead, I treated myself to NARS Deep Throat, Torrid and Douceur when I was away this weekend (and a pile of brushes). My new blushes have a slight glowiness to them that I like without a metallic or golden look that just isn't flattering on me now.

I'm officially on a blush no-buy. Somehow I've managed to pick up fifteen (FIFTEEN!) over the last few months. I'm not sure how that happened but I now have virtually all the colours I could imagine myself wearing (neutrals, peaches, orangy-corals, red-corals and a couple of pinks that don't pull too cool on me). I do reserve the right to buy pretty powders though. ;)

I'm just thrilled with my brushes. I'm going to clean them all with baby shampoo this morning.

I felt the same about the HC blushes. I'm not on a blush no-buy though, but I'm just picky what I will actually wear on a regular basis.

What brushes did you get? Did you manage to go to a CCO as well?

I didn't hit a CCO; I thought I'd dragged my family around enough with trips to Dillards (before I could find a Nordstroms), Sephora, Nordstroms and then Saks Fifth Avenue (because I wanted to try Gilda and Gina and Sephora doesn't carry those NARS blushes). What I found frustrating is that the department stores don't consistently carry MAC and NARS and we wasted some time at the wrong malls. I will be in the US again on business in mid-July; I'll search for a CCO then.

This trip I bought a 168, 188, 219, 266 and 234. The 234 was supposed to be a 286; I was given the wrong one in error. I was originally going to return it but once I tried it I decided that I liked it a lot (more than the 286, actually). I wanted it for concealer as much as for eyeshadow. I like the dual sides; one is great for putting on the concealer and the other for setting it with powder. I stocked up on Clinique too.

I have a couple on non-MAC brushes that I like a lot (powder, buffer, lip) and my MAC list of brushes is below. I think I have the majority of what I need now; any suggestions for other useful brushes I might have overlooked?

BRUSHES
116 - Blush Brush
130 - Short Duo Fibre Brush
167SH - Face Blender Brush (LE)
168 - Large Angled Contour Brush

190SE - Foundation
208 - Angled Brow
211 - Pointed Liner Brush
217 - Blending Brush
219- Pencil Brush
226SE - Tapered Blending Brush
234 - Split Fibre Eye Blending Brush (LE)

I would think so, but I'd like to hear a response as well. Supernova might be a little intense for me, so it'd be great to be able to have the option to use it as a shadow.

good idea! i should do that...i have a euro/uk ghd that i could probably sell for a decent amount because it's in very good condition....
You should do it! I got some new ones recently, and my old ones were nearly 6 years old - still went for £40!

I just got home and played a bit with my goodies!

I got:
Galaxy Rose, Cut a Caper, Earthly, Water, Universal Appeal and Stratus and RoS.

LOVE!

Though on me, Stratus and RoS are nearly identical.

I don't find them very shimmery and not glittery at all.

Right now I'm wearing Stratus and RoS on each cheek, and Water all over the lid on the right eye and Universal Appeal on the left. Lucky I don't have to leave the house again! Lol.

A lovely MUA let me preorder these on Saturday and hold them for me, though they aren't supposed to do so and chose wonderful swirls for me! My Earthly has only few dark brown swirls and the effect is an awesome light taupe with gold sparkles.

the 214 is good for lining the eyes with shadow, though i think it was LE...
the 242 is really good for applying cream eye products...
and the 195 makes a good concealer brush for the under eye cuz it gets in the corners!
oh and the 227 is good for all-over lid shadow application....i like it for when i'm doing a quick and easy look...

did you end up getting gilda and/or gina? i want to get gilda (never tried gina) this weekend, but the local sephora ran out...

I would add the 184. It's a great brush for light application (fool-proof for insanely pigmented blushes).

We were hit by a storm in my area and I'm still without electricity. I'm over a friend's house now so I can use the internet. Needed my Spektra fix. I guess I better start reading to get caught up on 15+ pages I missed.
