Hi, Hope this helps..sorry the photo is watermarked - hope that's okay.... I found the two shades similar...NARS is a bit sheerer, has no shimmer, and looks a little darker.  Chanel's version seem a bit more opaque, in comparison, and lighter perhaps because of the shimmer.

Just reposting here. The products used in the makeup are from this collection. Very pretty! There is the Furtif eyeshadow that seems to be missing at the counters at the moment.

Thanks very much! They are similar, but they don't look exactly the same. I'll have to see in person, of course, but I like these sorts of shades enough that I don't mind having fairly close variants.

Oh, I didn't like it at all. It was not smooth to me... it went on like chunky glitter. I was very disappointed.

Can someone compare Caractere and NARS Vandanges for me, please? I think they could be dupes.

No I don't think they could be dupes. Vendanges has a sheer texture and Rouge Coco is creamy texture ( more or less I agree ), Vendanges is not really moisturizing but probably more than Caractère. Above all both are different in terms of texture ( I haven't Caractère yet but I do have Vendanges, Destinée and Culte ). Vendanges is great ( sheer and deep raisin at the same time ).

I have both Nars Vendages and Chanels Caractere...I find them similar, but also unique enough to own both................the Nars is a true raisin, and is a sheer sweep of colour, while the Chanel one is a creamy, sparkly plum..

Just got back from checking everything including the Nordies anniversary collection!

I bought the silver liner. Mine is smooth & creamy & it really makes my eyes look wide open. I am going to order Complice & Infini (silver) single shadows at chanel.com as they are both really really pretty.

The quad - I liked the darkened Taupe that has gold shimmer & the black color which was incredibly smooth, but the other 2 colors didn't even show up on me.
Disappointed in Parfait (pink shine) its very much like MAC's new Venus which I love. The MAC ls actually shows up on me whereas the shine didn't.
The Beige ls is a shine -eh for me.
The plum ls is beautiful & so was the gloss. Maybe I'll get them later.

The highlighter color looked very weird on my skin.

Anniversary - the pink gloss is beautiful! I already own the blush (Fleur) which is lovely. I really really loved the quad which has 2 very deep browns which I love to wear and a pretty whitish color I will get that. There is a light beige nude gloss.

I bought a bunch of bargain clothes today ( J. Crew, Nordies & Anthro) - the sales were insanely amazing!

Oooohhh...thanks for the update. The highlighter was a yucky peachy color on my skin too. Did not like. Same experience as you with the fall quad as well. Glad to hear you liked the aniversary quad! So the texture is good then?

On the Anniversary quad, I think that one of the browns in the quad may have been a slight plum brown. Its hard to say for sure because of the lighting but seemed like it to me.

We always go shopping on the 4th of July. The sales are great, hardly anybody is shopping, eating out or on the road. Its awesome.

Is the texture of the new eyeshadow singles smooth and do they feel different from the powder ones? lol I've seen those fake tester too and tried to swatch one before. After that I am careful to make sure it is not a dummy, as my SAs call them. I like the pink aqualumiere gloss too! It seems to stay longer on my bare lips as compared to the older aqualumiere glosses. If I put it over lipstick, it actually disappears faster.

If the highlighter also look yucky on me, good for my wallet! We know how expensive these highlighters are so I'm happy to pass.

The single eyeshadows seemed about the same as past ones. They swatched smooth to me. The pink gloss was very pigmented & beautiful.

on the dummy tester (which would have been me)! At least I'm not the only one.

I've done that! I've also noticed those in displays and thought they were different shades than the real testers. It's sort of disappointing to go from "Ooh, what's that new exciting shade?" to "Why am I ogling a plastic dome?"
