MAC Heavenly creature discussion

The only things I have hit pan on or had to buy again(not including foundation, makeup removers or Fix Plus) are: MSFN in Medium Plus and Fig. 1 e/s.

None of my LE products I have actually gone through and wished I had a replacement (so far).

NOW on that note, I am getting close to pan on By Candlelight and Warm Blend MSF.

Same as you... MSFN, Fig1, also All that Glitters (used to wear that shadow everyday) and Brave lipstick (used to wear this lipstick everyday too, lordie was I boring! HeeHee)

I haven't finished many LE products either... But after hearing your desire to get your hands on another Warm Blend, I WILL BU an MSF or other mineralized product in a heartbeat! You have scared me to death! You KNOW you wish you could rock that WB whenever you wanted instead of feeling like you can only dust it off on a special occassion! Your cheeks deserve that WB EVERYDAY if you want to! HeeHee And I had a MSF fatality w Semi Precious and had to go pay almost triple for it to replace it! It was one I LOVED so if I had only BU'd up, I would have been fine! So... I justify a BU under these circumstances. THAT being said, when are we BU'ing up VENUS?! heehee wink wink

I'm with you on this Richelle.... ESPECIALLY with ANYTHING mineralized! They are SO fragile, so I feel it necessary to BU the ones I love the most not JUST out of worry that I will finish one, but also out of worry that one could VERY EASILY break! I dropped an MSF on CARPET one time from chair seat level and it cracked to pieces! There is no way I'm going to feel bad about backing up a product that I LOVE... Breaking, misplacing, losing... NEVER need that stress over a GREAT product. And I HATE when I feel like I can't really use a product I love as much as I want out of fear of using it all up and there being nothing on its level to replace it... If it's LE and I fall in LOVE with it.... I'M BU! Better to have a product to swap or sell than mourning the loss of a HG item.

PS.. My Shellcat wanting more of her beloved Warm Blend comes to mind here too! You can't even find that sucker on eBay!

I go through a few lippies (maybe 3-4) and a few l/g a year, but I'm not sure that will still be true now that I have more of them. It takes me ages to hit pan for e/s; I've only done it with Shale (an old favourite from a quad given out at a Fashion Cares event in Toronto) and All That Glitters, although I have serious indentations in others (Fig 1, Arena, Haux, Soft Brown).

I know yours was not depotted, but still...they ARE so fragile, and without that protective casing I think they would be even MORE fragile than they are now. *sigh*

I finally got some good swatches of Neo Nebula and Aurora....OMG and to think I wasn't going to purchase these originally. SMH

Still trying to decide all my favorites but here is what I have so far.

Lipsticks: Venus...yes I BU'd that baby!!
Cremesheen: Astral...again BU'd!
Eyeshadow: ? not sure yet
MB: Ring of Saturn...something about that color is just amazing.
MSF: Should be obvious!! Earthshine all day everyday! Especially because I live hot ole I just sweat half to death getting my mail Florida. Perfect for year round use.

I have to say, I really gotta stop reading this thread after my first haul I ended up going back for more I now have all the lipsticks, all four blushes and skin finishes. I only have two of the cremesheen, and I am almost tempted to go back and get the rest. The only thing I haven't purchased are the MES I'm just not a fan of those. Now I have a couple of questions:

1. Do any of you recommend the volcanic ash exfoliator?
2. Can any of you recommend a good sun block with at least a 35 SPF that won't leave my skin looking white so that I may use it under my make up?

I am currently in Florida for the summer and my skin is not used to this extreme amount of sun, anyways thanks in advance.

I should know this living here but I don't.

THAT is so true! I didn't even think about how much MORE fragile they would be AFTER the depot! So the actual depot itself is only 1/2 the insanity! You know I'd be too pussy to try it anyways! I can answer number 1.

I DO recommend the VAE. I feel that THIS latest release of this product is better than the previous. The particles are finer and the entire product becomes creamy as you blend it in.

I also LOVE the fragrance of the VAE, I know a lot of folks do not, but I am a fan of earthy scents, patchouli and sandalwood, etc...

I used it the other morning and it instantly made me feel revived, and that was after a night of well...having some fun. <---- I will leave it at that.

Makes my skin feel so smooth and clean afterwards. Hope that helps.
