My first, and for a long time only, Revlon Lip Butter was Gumdrop, a medium-light violet. I keep running errands for my mom and her caretakers and i end up in the CVS and Rite Aid often. So i now have 4 more Lip Butters (Peach Parfait, Cremesicle, Creme Brulee, and Brown Sugar), and returned two others (Pink Truffle and Sugar Plum) because i didn't like the colors on me.
I think the formula is similar to MAC Sheen Supreme, which is currently US$14.50, whereas the Lip Butters - at US$7.49 - are almost half the price. And there was a Buy One, Get One Half Off sale, which is why i got 4 - so they cost around US$5.60 each. There might be one or two others i'll like, but that's about it for me with the Lip Butters.
MAC's Sheen Supreme collection currently has 24, while Revlon has 20 colors. But i think MAC's range is more varied and versatile than Revlon's. I own 2 Sheen Supreme - Asian Flower ("creamy lavender" - but sadly it turns almost fuchsia on me) and Blossom Culture ("soft pink with pearlized pigments" - but it leans a bit coral) - and i have nine on my "To Test" list.
