My first, and for a long time only, Revlon Lip Butter was Gumdrop, a medium-light violet. I keep running errands for my mom and her caretakers and i end up in the CVS and Rite Aid often. So i now have 4 more Lip Butters (Peach Parfait, Cremesicle, Creme Brulee, and Brown Sugar), and returned two others (Pink Truffle and Sugar Plum) because i didn't like the colors on me.

I think the formula is similar to MAC Sheen Supreme, which is currently US$14.50, whereas the Lip Butters - at US$7.49 - are almost half the price. And there was a Buy One, Get One Half Off sale, which is why i got 4 - so they cost around US$5.60 each. There might be one or two others i'll like, but that's about it for me with the Lip Butters.

MAC's Sheen Supreme collection currently has 24, while Revlon has 20 colors. But i think MAC's range is more varied and versatile than Revlon's. I own 2 Sheen Supreme - Asian Flower ("creamy lavender" - but sadly it turns almost fuchsia on me) and Blossom Culture ("soft pink with pearlized pigments" - but it leans a bit coral) - and i have nine on my "To Test" list.
Hmmm maybe I'll try Sheen Supreme sometime. I haven't tried it yet. But yes, I added a bunch of lip butters to my w/l :) Unfortunately my bank is broken right now from HC and other haulage. :x

I went to the MAC store again today and got a BU of Star Wonder :D I got one with lots of pink and purple with very little gold. I am super happy with it. Sorry for the crappy pics but they are taken with my iPad in low light.

Here's both of them. The new one is on the left :eyelove:

ah sorry none of my pics are being allowed to be posted in the thread anymore. I guess because I'm new. But theres a pic in my profile. And ILoveMakeup84 I have a swatch pic of it in there, which shows how dang shimmery it is, even with a small swirl.
I swatched it again today at the store and yeah its too shimmery! Thats a shame because the color is gorgeous!

honey on boost has the exact answer!  They CAN be transported, just don't toss them in your makeup bag like the rest of your makeup.  Be as cautious and overly protective with them as possible.  Make sure they are NOT in your checked bag if you're flying THAT'S FOR SURE!  I usually wrap them up really good and place them in my purse!  I don't want anyone handling the bag they are in except me! It just isn't practical for me to travel with them all the time since I travel so much.  I would be constantly repackaging them... too much work.
They are going in my purse for sure! I'll make sure to bubble wrap them, just in case.

I love this swirl! My stratus has a somewhat triangular swirl as well. I like to think of them as green swirls, since they REALLY look like recycle symbols in my mind, the collection is planetary, and being green to save the world is very popular right now. Lol, yeah I'm a bit of a dork.

OMG!! To say I am COMPLETELY HEAD OVER HEELS JEALOUS of your Earthshine would be an understatement! I think that is the MOST perfect one I've seen based on what I was looking for! Good Job on that beauty!!

Who bought a 184 Fan brush recently? My Pro store was out of stock. The SA said everyone was asking for them with this launch. I blame Specktra. LOL!

I went to buy the 184 but no dice. So I had to get:
-Cusp of Dawn
-Celestial Kiss
-Astral
-Venus
-Strictly Plutonic

Oh and the display had the best swirls ever. Water was all green colors. I fell hard for the light green color. I liked the lime color too but Light green the best. This store didn't have the best of both green colors so I passed. I ended up picking up Water at the store down the street. But now that I look at it, I'm not sure if I got the lime green or just leftover yellow on top of regular green. Hmm I may have to get another.

Oh and I wore Earthly all over with Gilt by Association in the crease. Immortal Flower Blush with Center of the Universe and Meteoric CSG.

BTW - Off topic - but I went to the Sephora in the Meatpacking District (NYC). I mistakenly thought they carried a perfume there but wow is this store fantastic! They have lighted mirrors at all the applicator stations that have these different settings/buttons you can push like daylight, fluorescent, studio, candelight, moonlight (don't know why they have this one) but the set up of all the products is really cool too. I'm really sure how to described the displays but if anyone else has been here are there any other Sephoras like this? I was really surprised to find Armani Beauty there too.

After looking at what everyone is saying about Earthshine I feel like I am making a mistake by not getting it, I bought it but gave it to my sister now I feel like I need it, should I get one for myself? Is it really that special?
Yes, get it. It looks like it would be really nice on you. I just wore it around the house once and I really liked it. I'm considering a backup too but I feel funny doing that not having fully tried all my products first.

And here's center of the universe but I ended up swapping it away. It was a beautiful orangey peach with a strong gold/yellow undertone, but I felt like I had something similar. Anyway I included a picture of me wearing CotU to show how it looks on NC20. :) Oh also on the lips I have pleasure seeker l/s (note: if u missed out on razzledazzler l/s this is extremely similar, its practically the same thing! )

I love Center of the Universe on you and Pleasure Seeker. Thanks for tip of Razzle Dazzler. I just bought that but haven't used it yet. Love the winged liner. I'm a newby to winged liner and I've been practicing for a few months now. You've perfected it. Love the whole look! I will try it.

I wore Aurora today on my lid and my staple Texture to blend it out in the crease. I wasn't crazy for it at first, just sort of muddy brown and blah. I grabbed only the brown & pink colors. So... I took an angled liner brush and sprayed it w Fix+ and dipped into the bronzey olive green color and lined my upper and lower lid w it and POW... Look went from drab to fab! Still not sure that I think Aurora's a must have after my first encounter with her... but that metallic olive definitely saved her from a failure for me!

Many many pages back I showed my original, online-ordered, shattered, tons of purple UA... Well, the new one they sent me to replace it hardly has any purple! Just the tiniest swirl where the MES meets the edge of the pot. SO disappointed. Might have to go buy one in store, even though I'm not completely sure I need it. There's still enough of the purple attached to the broken pot from the 1st one I can dip into. So maybe that will have to be good enough.

I have such a hard time keeping up with this thread! there's a part of me that wants to buy more, but there's new collections coming so I should also try to hold back! about the traveling thing, I've traveled in the past with mineralized items in my bag or purse without any problems, and usually not even with the plastic insert. I even brought my entire collection back from the uk two years ago in my checked suitcase...I totally packed my train case tight, with tons of bubble wrap between layers and in every gap! no casualties! I think the semiprecious msfs and this collection are extra fragile due to the swirling geometry....I'd probably travel with them if I had to, just wrap everything carefully! makeupmami - nice pcs! cotu and pleasure seeker look really great on you!

I really like that pink in the Aurora. I didn't even realize it had pink in it. If I had known, I would have picked one with more pink. I will try the olive as liner. Thanks.
