MAC Heavenly creature discussion

MAC likes to capitalize on LE product craze as much as possible. By re-releasing Lightscapade and making everyone "think" it's only LE, then everyone goes crazy and buys backups, and buys multiples to try and get decent veining... THEN they show it as sold out on the website so people go crazy again buying up stock in the stores. THEN they remove it from the site for awhile yet keep supplying the stores so people think they've stumbled upon a great find when they see it still at the store and buy more. THEN, after the hype starts to die down again, they quietly put it back on the website as a perm item. That's probably also why no one seems to have a consistent answer when you ask within the ranks of MAC. They probably are letting the confusion persist on purpose. Genius Trickery!

I've left mechanical exfoliators far behind too. I would have been interested in the mask, though. Is it just me or have facial masks been out of style lately? People don't have the time to sit around and luxuriate with one?
I like masks! I just haven't found one that I LOVE yet. My BF works on Sundays, so it's usually my day to lounge around and pamper myself, hehe.

Thanks both of you! I promise to take a picture from further away next time. Jesus my lips are HUGE.
Lol, your lips are fine. And I thought the same thing when I took pictures of myself swatching different lipsticks. It's like I knew I had full lips, but I didn't realize they were *that* big.

NO WAY!! Your lips are awesome! I do have to note that for some reason Cremesheen glosses make MY lips look MUCH fuller than they are! And I'm not complaining! I could use some assistance in that dept! So you may be noticing that affect too!

Have you tried the Queen Helene Mint Julep mask? It's just a drugstore mask but it's my fave. :)
You know, I've heard a lot of good things about this mask but haven't checked it out. Maybe I'll pick it up this week! I hope it works b/c I sure LOVE drugstore prices haha.

I swear I cannot express how much I love these products. I finally switched from being obsessed with starwonder to light year. I had just been using the light peachy part of light year as a highlight, but today I decided to really use it as a full on blush and concentrated my brush on the rose veining and gold swirl... it was as if NARS deep throat and Luster had a baby. I have been searching up and down for a blush that has a similar golden sheen to Luster in ANY other color for about two years(I am all about the sheen, shimmer, and sparkle) and this has that same effect.

Heres some Stratus pictures for fellow pale ladies. I know a lot of people were wondering how this looks on paler skin. So I thought my arm was nc-15, but I guess it's already lost the little tan I was able to pick up and its back to being nc-10.

Heavy Swatches: L to R: Swirl color (idk how to describe it), mixed color, dark purpley color.
FLASH NATURAL LIGHT

Blended out on my arm with a blush brush (Hakuhodo 210). You can see it just adds a lovely hint of plummy color. It's very wearable!

Thank you for the swatches and info about LY. You're doing a great job enabling me, haha.
