I have a brand new rated r if someone is looking. anywho I hope electroplate is similar to dirty greasepaint since that turned an awful smell! omg I had to b2m V and B greasepaint stick bc they turned like rotten crayons on crack!! sad bc I hardly used them too. also I wonder if superwatt is similar to vintage selection paint pot....my VS is almost empty since that was my "wtf am I doing up and at work at 6am" look.....and I didn't back it up so here's hoping....

I wore Fashion Circuit today -- so lovely. When I dabbed my brush into the pot the brush mark stayed. I left it upright on my vanity to see if it will settle back into a smooth top. The texture is so, so cool and super easy to blend.

Ran out and got superwatt today, thought that would be my last one, but she showed me the rose colour with superwatt -- aagh.

I'm glad these are coming out over time too since I'm going to end up with more than the two I thought I would stop at.

Spanky! Thanks so much for posting about the EL collection. I've been searching the web for weeks looking for info on this collection and all I found was zilch. I did read that it might be out for the Nordstrom anniversary sale. Not too many post about EL products and I haven't used any of their products since my college days. But I have a renewed interest in the brand and have bought several products this year and a few last year. I was eager to check out this purple collection. I can't wait to go check it out. Hopefully, some bloggers will have some pics but I doubt it. EL needs to get on board with the bloggers. There is a bronze color in the palette or are you talking about a separate bronze color? I don't recall any bronze color in the palette. I'm off to search for any new pics. Thanks again.

Aradhana, I own both some ETK and some L'Oreal Infallible e/s, and to me they have the same texture. I'd say that the ETKs have more complex colours while the L'Oreals are more monochromatic if this makes sense. For example I've got an emerald Green, a straightforward purple and a dark Blue from the L'Oreal line, which are all beautiful vibrant colours. My khaki and silver from Armani are more unique colourwise, with different coloured pigments that compile the colour you see. Hth!

thanks for the comparison! i guess the number of pigments/complexity of colours explains the price difference! i think these MAC ones might be more like the l'oreal ones in that case...though i think from what i recall of the swatches i did in store, the black had flecks of different shimmer...

Crud. I was trying to limit myself to 3 but I might have to change that to four...
Infraviolet- omg wow it looks so

in the swatches! This combined with star n rockets are a match made in heavan!
Fashion Circuit- I cant resist any green/teal that looks like that, It's stunning! I think Partylicious piggy (one of my fav piggies ever) will look amazing over it. This and the green mufe aqua cream will be an aweome combo as well!
Love Power- Anything thats close to YV I am all for! I use it a lot with no BU. And after hitting the pan on two of the peacocky shadows I've realized it is possible to run out!

I am not allowing myself to get more then four so I'm trying to decide between Pure Flash, Superwatt, or Coil. What would you all suggest? I'm leaning more towards PF or SW, for slap it on with some liner and go type color.
I LOVE me some purples (Highly Charged) but I think I'll get the mufe aqua cream instead.
