I heard that Solar Ray is similar to Ripe peach from the spring color forecast. Does anyone have the two that can show us of that is true?
I don't have Solar Ray but have Ripe Peach and when I swatched SR it didn't remind me of RP. It reminded me of Spaced Out blush from Neo Sci Fi....

I tried to b2m for fire sign today and they refused to do it because it's a special collection... Sigh.... Mac Mac Mac Mac.....
Tell me about it. I had over 30 empty packages and asked them to hold Venus for me. I was then told that 24 empties was the max I could send in and that I could not get limited edition lipsticks. A couple of months ago I did get Runaway Red as a back up. That definately was le... Sigh... My former contact at MAC has left. She used to cut me some slack, but the new one has other rules it seems. (or the previous one was just more lenient).

This is annoying! Maybe you can go to a different store?

Yes! This is a pretty close dupe. I also prefer SO over SR, mainly because I like the texture and finish much better.

Unfortunately not. In my country there is no Back to MAC, so I collect 24 or more and then send them to the UK. Perhaps in the future I can try Germany? I'm not sure if B2M exists in Germany...

By the way, I emailed MAC Germany months ago (3 months ago or so) and never received a reply. Once I tried another country and got a reply from Belgium about half a year later. I hate that sh#t.

Has anybody ever tried using the B2M thing on the website? I wanted to try it but I don't have a printer to print out the form. Is that the only way?

What? How come is that possible? No B2M? My Mac's new staff does not let B2M LE unless something "is left over". But who can count on that. Earlier I did not even ask, but it may have been possible. I was able to B2M in the UK but perhaps it depends. The online seems to be strict.

I B2M to the UK, since I place phone orders there too. The Netherlands and Belgium do not participate in the B2M program.

Ok, in that case if anything goes wrong this time, I'll save them up and take a trip to Germany every now and then :)

A MAKEUP ADDICTS CONFESSION: So earlier this week I had posted a Bare Minerals eyeshadow quad that I was bonkers about, but said I was going to wait because the colors seemed like they were similar to some of the Style Seeker colors. While this is off topic, I am posting this here because I blame that gorgeous Center Of the Universe MSF for this purchase! So this is how this purchase came about (note the sick rationalization process).... While on another thread here at Specktra, Electric Cool ES, some members mentioned the Loreal Infalliable eyeshadows. Due to their low cost and high quality, I thought I would check them out...had to go to Target anyway! I had my eye on the new fall plum color. Well Target didn't have the new fall colors...So with about $100 of groceries in tow on about a 90 degree day, my sick addicted brain thinks it would be a good idea to drive about a 1/2 hour away to Ulta, "just to look." *wink, wink* Well lucky me the Infalliables are on sale buy 2 get 1 free! I grab the plum, and begin choosing my second color when the thought hits me that these are going to end up costing me $16 for three(here is where the rationalizing begins)...$16 is half way to the cost of the BM quad that I really want..these colors won't be exactly the same as the Style Seeker colors, in fact they will probably work well with those colors...how dare you go out of the house with an $8 eyeshadow on, when you have so many eyeshadows that you have spent $20+ on. Now logicaly I know a good product does not have to cost a lot of money, but I would feel guilty wearing these when I have so many products that I have spent a lot of money on, and lets face it...I am not going to stop buying $20+ dollar eyeshadows until my eyeballs fall out of my head, so why do I need these $8 eyeshadows? Anyways...swatches of the BM quad The Rare Find that I bought for my HC CotU. CotU across top.

I am in love with that green, the shimmery gold, and the terracotta color. Just curious, does anyone else think like this? I swear deep down I knew I wasn't going to Ulta to see those Infalliables...I was just putting myself in the vicinity of that BM palette so I could buy! I am so on to me!

Nice BM Quad, Jenrbelt! But now I'm feeling sad for the poor $8 L'Oreal Infalliable shadows, who never stood a chance against BM, haha.

YES! Probably the majority of us here think like that. It's classic makeup addict logic. It makes perfect sense.
