I never got around to trying the VAE .. I fear it to be a bit too harsh for my dry, sensitive skin
It is always good to take care of our skin. The biggest problem I have is that I have sensitive skin and not everything works for me. It's almost as if the less I do the better because when I do too much I break out. I can never imagine using a clarisonic on my skin lol. But there is something out there for everyone. Wait to get the Mia when sephora has their friends and family sale in November. Mascara- I've been using the tarte Amazonian clay, the wood tube And my all time favorite for 6 years... Avon super extend mascara. Avon actually makes really good mascaras by the way. Gave a tube to my mom and she said that the ladies at work thought she had lash extensions. Really recommend it.Makeup is good but skincare is better! As I have gotten older my skin has changed and it can't handle just any old routine, i.e. wash with dove soap and slap any old moisturizer on it and go. I have a routine in place and it makes a difference. My skin looks good under my m/u and I find that I need less of it. All I want now is a Clarisonic and I'm saving for one of those. It may go on my Christmas list but I want the new Coach Legacy Duffle or Madison. Everything I want is expensive!
It's a good ides to get a sample. I too have sensitive skin and it didn't completely work for me. It's not a bad product though you should try it see how you like it. You know I got this and it just didn't work for me, I think that because I am in FL right now my pores are clogging much more easily and I was breaking out so I got the VAE soon as it came out but it just didn't clean my face good enough so I decided to try Origins modern friction because some one on this thread recommended it and wow! It is amazing, my face feels so clean and no more breakouts! I am saving the VAE for when I am back up north in the cold I think it would work just fine as a daily cleanser I just don't think its strong enough to be a deep exfoliator.

I also got a backup for my Stratus since my sister decided to take my original backup oh and I wanted to share my new pride and joy I know its not MAC but I love it so much I had to take a pic of it accompanied by my beautiful swirls!!

It is crazy how differently products swatch based on the swirls you get.

They're a bit darker in real life and more intense (flash washed out the color)
but as you can see, the left is such a beautiful cherry/berry color (with predominantly purple sparkle which you can't really see). The right one is this coppery/rusty orange with gold as the predominant sparkle!! crazy!
That's correct everything is back in stock for the 3rd time in the US website, except for supernova blush. It's time for round 3 ladies lol.

I love it, I haven't tried my Earthshine as a shadow yet but after seeing your look I am definitely going to try it out and by the way what lipstick did u wear with this look? I wore light year as a blush. I really like the look. It can be used for everyday.
These were taken with my ipad so the colors are kind of washed out ;(, but hopefully you get a general idea.

I got 3 BUs of Star Wonder and Light Year, but I'm almost contemplating a fourth BU for LY! Thank you, you should try it. It's nice to be able to use these products differently. Well to be honest, I didn't buy any lipstick for the collection because I really don't like the finishes I didn't even bother trying them on. But, I have heard a lot of nice things about Venus and the swatches looked nice. I used Honeylove or Innocence beware. Can't remember and in the pics it was worn off. What finish is Venus a lustre?

I'm SOOOOOOOO obsessed with Light Year too. I only bought one back up (but I NEVER backup anything) and am contemplating getting a second back up. It's just perfection in a pan. I think I'm heading to the mall on Friday, so if I find a MAC with some in stock, and can hand pick one more, I might just cave if there is a beautiful swirl.
