HoneyMilk, I have no issue at all with what you said. I know you were talking about Ebay scalpers and not fans. I absolutely agree with you. And I was very grateful for your comments.

I agree that there should been more stock.

Hopefully, everyone is referring to people that resell for profit and not die hard fans! I have NO qualms with you buying 4 or 20 for personal use. Seriously! It's just a bummer that MAC didn't anticipate rabid fans along with the rabid ebayers that neeeeed these lippies! Hopefully they do a full restock and not just these dinky little ones.

I can see that if I was a fan and I didn't get ONE lippie in the color I wanted but someone got 10, I would be upset but it seems like misplaced anger. I think the anger needs to be towards MAC not a lover of MAC

Ok, while I do this it's selfish to buy 10 CYY I also think MAC should have enough stock that people can buy 10, 2, or 4. I feel stock should last AT LEAST 24 hrs! I guess it's hard to predict, but come on! BY REQUEST!

Yeah and they should restock with a decent amount. Im annoyed that i missed this restock. I would like to get a b/u of Moxie

Thank you for saying this. I was beginning to feel uncomfortable with some of the comments on here about people who buy more than 2 or 3 of a color. Rocker has been my HG, everyday go to for years. I wear this lipstick at least 4-5 days a week pretty much year round which means I can go through it pretty quickly. I stocked up when it was discontinued as I didn't think it would ever come back and it is one of the colors that has never been re-promoted.

I ordered 4. If I can get more, I will. These are strictly for personal use. Piapreet frequently wears CYY and goes through a tube fairly quickly. She is NOT someone who hoards and sells on Ebay. People don't need to criticize or be snarky. We wouldn't do that to someone else.

I agree, buy all you want! no one knows how fast someone else goes through a tube. Nor can we predict when, if ever, these colors will be released again.

Oh Ms Richelle! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the Rocker vs Runaway Red comparison!! They are nothing alike so I will probably get Rocker. Plus I have fallen head over heels in love with Matte finishes. I mean, I have always liked them but now I LOVE them. I am hoping one day for Runaway Red in a matte formula. I am hoping the dark red matte from the upcoming Marilyn collection will be a good duplicate.

And I understand what you are saying how people who buy for personal use should be able to buy as many as they want. I guess it just becomes a problem when some people don't get a chance to get any is what I was referring to. You are right, MAC needs to stock accordingly or make sure to announce a restock will be upcoming in future weeks. It is only fair. They are only hurting themselves by causing people to go to eBay in the first place and pay the jacked up prices because they can't get enough product out.

I wonder if they are trying to track it by shipping/billing address or names? I remember a member of a forum I use to go to often said she has multiple cards all with different addresses so she can get the best deals and partake in one promo several times. That to me is sooo much work. Maybe this is what those evilbayers are doing?!

But I agree with others. If MAC came out with a more purple Heroine I'd probably buy 10 just because I know how good that color looks on me and goes with everything I wear. Then that is my prerogative. Now selling them for profit like as in a business is taking advantage of people and in this case is causing unnecessary drama. It may just be lipstick to some but there is a bigger issue at hand. MAC knew that CYY would sell out in 2 seconds flat but still didn't have enough stock. The 77,157 votes for it should have been a good indicator of how much people want this color. Shame on them for not carrying enough in the first place.

Yes they are both different finishes. But looking at the picture they look the same. I have DD and my CYY arrives tomorrow so I will swatch them both to see if there is any difference.

On me they are different on the lips. New CYY isn't quite as fuchsia and the finish of course is different too.

Everyone who is mad at MAC think of it like this.

MAC anticipates a popular collection, they even know how popular because of the number of votes sent it. They make a certain number of units of the product, say 1,000. Well, on the day of the release, 200 people buy 5 each of CYY in thirty minutes. Meanwhile, 200 people buy 1 each of rocker in the first 30 minutes. MAC rushes to restock CYY, but only with 1,000 more units, since they had to rush to make more. But because of the popularity people are ready, so not only do they buy more, but they buy faster, say people buying 10 of each in half the time,15 minutes. Meanwhile, Rocker is being bought at the same rate, so only 100 more units of that are gone in the same 15 minutes. As a result 3,000 units of CYY sell in 45 minutes, while only 300 units of rocker are gone. But how could this have been anticipated this 10 to 1 ratio selling rate, when statistically CYY only had 7.2% more votes than Rocker?

Can anyone recommend a hot pink lipliner to go with DD or CYY? Moxie turned out very pink on me, not as red as I expected. I guess skin tone can make a big difference. Rocker looks like Diva but with micro glitter.

True. If any of these were perm, I wouldn't give them second glances unless I was looking specifically to fill a hole in my collection or I saw them on the Goodbyes page, hahaha. I'm not saying these colors aren't gorgeous, but I think a lot of the hype revolves around the fact that they're LE and not because they're OHMYGOODNESS must haves. I'm very guilty of taking perm items for granted and I'm sure I'm not the only one (and that doesn't just apply to MAC but other brands as well)
