I wonder if that's why MAC puts out so many limited items. It certainly helps sales and they know this. I mean I know other brands put out limited items too but MAC seems to do it more than others. Pair that with MAC being very popular, it makes people go crazy.

I'm also very guilty! I almost never buy perm items because all the money goes to the LE's!

I always tell myself I have LE fatigue, skip a collection and then get back into the LE game a month later. It's a vicious cycle!

Moxie pulls pink on me but turned more red looking as it faded. I still love it!!!! It is more tame than Quick Sizzle. I think it looks like QS with a little Dish it Up on top. CYY, the new is for sure less blue based and less neon. More tame. I still like it, but it is not my 80's My Little Pony neon pink that I loved. Rocker, super wearable but can be built up to a more vampy type look, it is 1994 in a tube for me!

BTW batch code for the old CYY is AC0 new is A62!

Clearly, that was incorrect info, so there's hope! [/COLOR] thanks! i was hoping that will be the case!!! i'm just worried they'll restock the american site but not the canadian! anyway, all i can do is stalk!

Ok I have wayyy too much time on my hands. lol.

yes, especially since so many people voted more than once! totally distorts the 'actual' number of people who want anything....and as for how MANY they each want....well, that's really just a guessing game!!! anyway, i'm sure mac's got some good mathematicians working for them....with some smarts in marketing, so that they can use the numbers to create hype....

I don't have any issue with how many of a product someone buys for personal use. I only have an issue with scalping. I can't believe how many CYYs there are on EBay right now! Whatever tracking system MAC is using isn't stopping the real problem. They can tell when a loyal MAC customer buys one of a lot of products and 3-5 of ones they really love, versus the scalpers who probably buy 6-10 each of the hot items. I will say, though, that I've learned to stalk and I haven't had a problem getting an item since I got back into MAC around the Shop, Cook collection. I do think that they should at least make enough products to last 24 hours though, as many don't have the time to stalk.

Thankfully, all the comparison swatches are making me realize just how many products I'm neglecting! I have Pink Pigeon on right now, and on me, it is neon. I'm super pale though, but I'll be happy if this new CYY is similar to this, just in a different shade.

I know exactly what you mean. Back in March I bought 2 permanent eyeshadows and a couple of other permanent items and I felt so proud of myself. Haha!

I received my order today, I ordered 2 moxies and only received 1, the mac rep told me that they have them in stock even though it has sold out on the website and I should expect to receive it soon. I also told the rep, that moxie sold out on the site today and she said they will be getting in new shipment, doesn't that mean that cyy will be restocking on the website?

I know right! A few months ago I finally bought Warm Soul after wanting it for over 2 years, I was like; wieeh I finally did it!! I'm like that whenever I buy perm items.. kinda sad lol x'D

i missed out on candy yum yum once again. i chatted with a mac rep said that they wouldn't be restocked and the best she could do was direct me to similar shades...lickable for candy yum yum and lustering for moxie...but lustering is a completely different finish =(.
