This is a beautiful and hilarious statement! May I quote you? Hahahaha! She who dies with the most CYY is still ugly on the inside.
It's just so true though...

I. Am dyingggggg Omg I wish it would pull red it would be my HG dream color and I'd stalk a restockIt is a pinky red...I darker pink red if you will lol
Yes, it does indeed seem that way lol. I know there are many people who love to collect lipsticks and try vibrant colors and that's cool. I just ask myself if I will ever wear the color outside of the house and I usually put my wallet away lol. I'm way too chicken. Bold, bright shades would just end up at the back of the drawer for me!It seems like the vibrant, matte or oddly coloured lippies from the LE collections is always the coveted color.
Wow, I haven't heard about people getting the wrong lipsticks! I'll be sad if I don't get my hands on Candy Yum Yum, even though I have dupes from Milani and Maybelline. I do wish they had extra stock, though I'm pretty sure they do and the "sold out" thing is just a way to get people to purchase the not sold out items. I've been pretty loyal to MAC since 2007, but I wish they would change some of their business practices. They knew that CYY would be popular. I guarantee they have interns going through Livejournal, Ebay, and Specktra to see what's popular and coveted.MAC knew that with so many votes, demand was gonna be SUPER high so I still think they could have had TONS of stock and TONS extra to make sure they were gonna meet the demand. Now, you have 373984329874 listings on Ebay selling one lipstick for $100. Like, really? If MAC would have done enough stock so that everyone could have gotten some, the evilbayers probably wouldn't be making nearly as much money. Notice that most of the Ebay auctions say "Sold Out" ... just another reason for people to bid and spend crazy amounts of money. This whole thing has been a mess. Smh.
1994 in a tube is a great way to describe Rocker. That's one of the reasons I am so excited to get it. I never got the original, sadly, just fell in love with the swatches. I love vampy reds, the new matte formula, and the fact that this particular beauty has a bit of multicolored glitter, which IMO adds the absolutely perfect edge and makes it truly stand out from the sea of vampy reds. It makes me nostalgic for that era of the 90s that conjures up visions of Seattle, long hair, fishnets, combat boots..Moxie pulls pink on me but turned more red looking as it faded. I still love it!!!! It is more tame than Quick Sizzle. I think it looks like QS with a little Dish it Up on top. CYY, the new is for sure less blue based and less neon. More tame. I still like it, but it is not my 80's My Little Pony neon pink that I loved. Rocker, super wearable but can be built up to a more vampy type look, it is 1994 in a tube for me!
BTW batch code for the old CYY is AC0 new is A62!
idk, I'm not sure if I can really be mad at MAC, based on the reasons duckrodeo listed (and my own limited experience working with a small manufacturing company). I also agree that even if they had produced a bajillion CYY, there still wouldn't be enough units for sale due to the LE status of the product.MAC knew that with so many votes, demand was gonna be SUPER high so I still think they could have had TONS of stock and TONS extra to make sure they were gonna meet the demand. Yep. A girl on LJ ordered one of each lipstick and instead of getting a CYY, she ended up with 2 Rockers and a Moxie. MAC won't even do anything but refund her money because they don't have any more CYY. That's horrible. Another reason why they should have had extra stock to cover things like that. They need to listen to the complaints and resolve the issues.Wow, I haven't heard about people getting the wrong lipsticks! Another reason why they should make it permanant. That "LE" mess is just insane. Especially for an extremely popular product.idk, I'm not sure if I can really be mad at MAC, based on the reasons duckrodeo listed (and my own limited experience working with a small manufacturing company). Oh no, that's awful! I hope I'm not in for a nasty surprise tomorrow!Yep. A girl on LJ ordered one of each lipstick and instead of getting a CYY, she ended up with 2 Rockers and a Moxie.
