Hi everyone. I mostly lurk this forum, I may have posted a few times, but you girls are a wealth of information and useful help. I hope it's ok to post a few comparison pics that I took in order to help people who may have not been able to get these lipsticks on time.

I think Cherry picking looks the absolute closest to moxie. In the picture, impassioned really looks similar in color, but different in finish, but in real life, they're not as similar imo. Hope these help someone!

my sister told me to try purple rain NYX liner for candy yum yum... i've never tried a pink that bright so I'm scared lol. Do you think its worth it to just get the Magenta liner from MAC??

It's a personal preference to be honest. Why not try and swatch both and see which you like better? I can't say anything about Purple Rain as I've never tried it, but if it's any help I own Magenta and I use it for pinks and purples. Magenta isn't a flat color though which I like. Here's a photo of me with Magenta liner and OCC's Anime Lip Tar.

I wish we had better NYX displays here, most are not well stocked and people test everything!!! Gross...but maybe packaging some of the products different would help. There's always online ordering though. My CYY should be here today, just hoping it comes ok with the 100+ degrees it might be ( and the UPS guy never gets here before 5pm, EVER)

Sure! If it's not too much trouble. Thanks. It appears the new one is a bit different from the old one as seen in other swatches. I'm still happy to be getting it though.

I am still waiting for my black box with my LS order. Hopefully it will come today, and everything won't be melted.

I also ordered all 3 glosses which should arrive tomorrow.

I think that I will skip the es. I was going to order Jete, but I have so many neutrals. Plus it does not look very unique in the pics that I have seen. I already have mothbrown backups from Barbie, and I still don't get the appeal of guacomole.

Yes is totally annoying, and I'm worried I won't get the e/s I want (tmoth brown) if it's the same as these last few restocks! I feel pretty sad about missing moxie...to the point I might resort to evilbay...but I reaaaally don't want to do that if I don't have to. I am hoping they restock the lipsticks when they put out the e/s but I also don't want to get my hopes up since the mac customer service on phone and the live chat person both said it's not gonna happen!

I'm not so worried about the eyeshadows selling out as quickly as they normally take a little longer to sell out. Though given how quickly CYY and Moxie sold out both times, it could drive a rush for the shadows. I'd be happy to grab an extra Moth Brown for you just in case.

And the reason it looks so sketchy in most lip swatches is because it takes FOREVER to apply and add layers. Even with it being warm I had to keep adding and adding!

For those wondering, NYX Purple Rain is an exact dupe for MAC Magenta. I have both and use them both interchangeably.

Can someone tell me, do NYX lipsticks smell like NYX lipglosses? The smell of their lipglosses doesn't agree with me.
