Agree! Everytime I see arm hair in one of my pictures, I start thinking about Nairing it all off...until I think of the maintenance that would require!

They just sent it out on Pro too. It really makes you wonder why they don't link the email to the actual release time. It's a no brainer!

I have to send out newsletters as part of my work. I use a newsletter service where I can schedule the time to send the newsletter out to everyone on the mailing list and I can track when they receive it. What I've noticed is that everyone on the mailing list "receives" the same newsletter at different times even though it was scheduled to go out at one set time. The bigger the mailing list, the longer it takes everyone to get it. I'm sure MAC has 1000's of people on their mailing list, so it my take them even longer. I didn't receive my email until 10:15am EST, but it looks like others got it earlier.

It also depends on how long it takes the marketing department to finish making the email before they can send it out. I've suffered from unexpected delays when making my own newsletter. Sometimes the delay was due to getting information confirmed before I could publish it, so I would have to wait for responses. The marketing department may have to wait to get details from other departments, like confirming shipping codes or getting text edited. Of course, this is all speculation on my part based on my own experiences.

Dear Diary is still a ton more shiny and creamy than the new one. The texture of the 2 makes them look different on me. It has a glossy sheen to it.

I got Dear Diary too because MUA recommened and said it's really similar to CYY, but no way!
It turned out to be quiet reddish on my lips. It's similar to NARS Schiap rather than CYY.

Looking at the e-mail MAC sent for longer than a few seconds would give me a headache. It's nice that they put the amount of votes on there, but it moves so fast that it would be impossible to see how many were received. If only Queen's Sin had come back.

Yes. It is not super close on me either but closer than a lot of other colors.

all i got from the shadows was jete and moth brown. i seem to be on a "buy two things and walk away" kick lately.
(except when it comes to sharpie marker pens. it's getting ridiculous in my pen case now.)

I only have the new CYY, so I don't know what I'm missing with the old. But I'm very, very happy with the new one. And I tend to have dry lips, so the smoother texture is probably better for me.

Yes, CYY 1.0 took a lot of work to wear, it would show every imperfection and by the end of the day create even more dry spots.

Lol, I have small hands so I need the space of my arm. I also need bigger blobs so I can really see the color. Like mousygiggles, I'm mostly swatching for myself. Then I think afterwards, "Hmm, maybe someone on Spektra would find this useful" and just post a pic. Maybe in the future I can try my inner arm when I know in advance I'm doing a Spektra swatch.

my feet are size 11....and my hands are pretty much just as huge...

...which looks strange because I have freakishly slim wrists and forearms for my size.

I placed an order around 430am pacific time. I got 2 each Jete and Moth Brown and Nightmoth l/l. I figure Nightmoth will get plenty of use this fall with all the vampy lip shades and especially Rocker! I called in sick today because there's no way I can come in with a fever and all my other symptoms! It's a little bittersweet that I'm getting my lippies today, too! I won't be able to play with them until I am all better! But fortunately UPS comes in the evening, so maybe I'll feel better by then!
