Please is their anyone out there who can help me out with a reasonably priced Moxie and CYY. Moxie is first on my wishlist. My sis goofed & left it up to my BILto buy me tpall the LSs, I was somexcited to open the box, only to find Rocker! Of course I love them for getting me Rocker but I really wanted MOXIE and CYY to cure me of my red addiction. Inswear if I ever get it & I'm still at hops. I'm gonna get all Joan Crawford on their asses...me in full powdered face, loads of mascara & hopefully Moxie or CYY on my lips whilst resting atbthe top of the bed. Lol. Thank you for all the well wishes. Today makes day # 9 in hospital! Ahhh. I haven't eaten since Friday, the 3rd, so they r figuring out what to do about that. Just had another MRCP, so I hope these results are a lot better than the ones I got last week. I hate being here! I want to go home. Hope everyone is doing great!

I went to Ringling...was 1 of 83 out of 450 people that got selected for the computer animation program. I hated it.

Lol, you didn't like Ringling or being in computer animation or both? Animation can be very tedious work depending on what you're doing.

I didn't think of that either! I must try it on top of CYY and Moxie too. I wish they make more lipsticks like Ruffian Gold except in different colors and with different sparkles. It would be neat to be able to apply Rocker's rainbow glitter over other lipsticks. Does something like this already exist?

I have to look really hard but I see a slight difference. I don't think it really translates much. I like both because they have different finishes.

I can totally tell the difference. Moxie looks like it has more of a blue undertone whereas Impassioned has more yellow. Plus, the finishes are different. Totally warrants having both.

I've thought about doing freelance makeup, but I have no idea where to begin. Here in Oregon, you NEED a certificate obtained from a beauty school. Still kind of sitting on the idea, nothing's finite yet! I'm still trying to get an entry level communication position, but that seems rare without having 5+ years experience in the field (say what?).

Do it! I think you'd be great at it. I'm sure MUAs on here can give you some tips to get started. You could probably also ask MUAs at beauty counters for info. There may be some accelerated program offered in Oregon, or maybe consider an online program if something like that exists for makeup.

I went to art school too. I have a degree in Advertising. I am a creative person and that probably explains my love of fashion and now make-up. They are creative outlets for me especially since I am not working at the moment. I just wish I had gone to a cheaper school honestly as I had no idea that finding a job upon graduation would be damn near impossible and I'd be stuck working at Disneyland still until I had my daughter and quit to stay at home with her.

You're a woman after my own heart. I've never done it, but I love cosplay. Much respect to people that go all out and are confident in doing things like that. I went to Comic Con a last year, and I had a blast. The cosplay was definitely one of my favorite parts.
Wish you luck in your animating. I'm sure it's not easy to get into. I wish I could draw, but sadly stick figures is about it.

Thanks! I greatly admire cosplayers as well. I more so just dress up for promotional reasons, usually harajuku type stuff. I'm not sure I'm confident with it either, but I do it for the job. I'm more so a behind the scenes type of person. Dressing up is definitely out of my comfort zone. So if I can do it, you can too! You can probably do something small like wearing a bright colored wig. That alone is very fun to do.

It was almost midnight and I was tired after a day of school supply shopping for my 3 kids my head just couldn't wrap around full lipstick when I was feeling so bleah. post above it shows my lips without color on them for pigmentation and I was totally bare faced having gotten ready for bed

CYY is definitely lighter and brighter than the other three, while Moxie is deeper and bolder than her cousins. You can still kind of detect a pinky-red with Moxie, whereas the others are more coral-red.

I still like Pink Pigeon more!!! I haven't tried CYY on yet, but PP matches Embrace Me l/l and I can imagine that CYY might look a little similar to PP when using the lip liner (but still a little on the lighter and purple side).

OOoooo, so pretty. I can't stop starring at the picture. I love the colors. Still sad about missing out on Pink Pigeon and Party Parrot. They're beautiful shades.

I received my l/g yesterday. I'm wearing FoF to work, but it seems a little frosty/shimmery for work. I'm so flipping conservative. It will look decent if I do a really heavy eye on the weekends, but I feel like I need to add some more pink to it for less iciness. Still haven't been able to try my lipsticks. Waiting for prep + prime so I'll be less likely to have an adverse reaction to seeing color on my lips. I've been going bare for about 15 years.

Oh goodness! Bless your heart! I've been there and I hope you'll feel better soon. I ended up in the hospital a few years ago and I had to have my gallbladder out and it really scared me because I didn't know what all was going on. If you have to have it done, it's actually a really simple procedure. I hope they take good care of you!

You are beautiful and you inspire me! I can totally relate to what you said about being obese and not wanting to be noticed sometimes. I feel that way alot especially now that I live daily with violence and cruel words. I hold on to my vampy lips. They can't take that away from me.

Me too I either go suuuper bright or dark. I've gone out with prince noir and rocked it just as much as I would rock CYY I wore rocker yesterday evening. But during day my precious CYY

I'm having a rough time now in a bad neighborhood. Color has helped me. And not only picking makeup for the day, but the fact that it stops me from crying so I don't mess up my eye makeup

I started wearing make up (actuaslly creating looks instead of just concealer, powder, mascara) when I moved to Harlem. So, somewhat I feel you.

IMO hideous. I tried it and it looks excessively pink. CYY is more blue based and it turns out better with a bluer and softer (more pastelle) shade. Like the lavender type or blushes. On the other hand, with a soft peach it turns out great too but this depends on what u use on lids.
