Good for you! Experience builds and even if something doesn't directly relate to your field, it can certainly provide transferable skills. I got my first post uni job because I'd worked at a fast food outlet for a few years in high school/uni and had moved into management. My first employer interviewed me because they figured if I could keep my cool and get things done in that type of chaotic environment then I would do the same with their clients.
Thanks doll! I'm excited! I love wearing bright lippies to work! Usually I'll keep the rest of the makeup minimal, just a little sweep of eyeshadow, liner and mascara, and Pink Cult is a great neutral cheek color! Pink Pigeon is my favorite lipstick that I wear to work all the time! And Red Racer or Ruffian Red. I haven't worn Heroine yet though! Lol. Moxie I would def wear to work, it's a bold lip that's still fun. I have a small mouth so I like wearing lipstick, I feel it balances my features
CYY i've only tried on once, but it does look similar to PP on me so I would say yes, that will get worn to work too! On the weekends, unless I'm going out, i don't wear any makeup lolWOW!! Swatches are amazing and I have all of the lipsticks that you have swatched! I have Moxie in the box and I have yet to do a review and swatch. CYY is definitely lighter and brighter than the other three, while Moxie is deeper and bolder than her cousins. You can still kind of detect a pinky-red with Moxie, whereas the others are more coral-red.
I still like Pink Pigeon more!!! I haven't tried CYY on yet, but PP matches Embrace Me l/l and I can imagine that CYY might look a little similar to PP when using the lip liner (but still a little on the lighter and purple side).

Thank you for the encouragement and for sharing your experience! I always had the ideal image of graduating college and stepping out into the corporate world with my own desk and a salary! Lol but sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do and right now employers definitely are valuing experience earned outside of a classroom! I do love my job, though. I like the fast-paced atmosphere and interacting with customers! I'm sad to see my current manager go, she's been just like a mom to everyone! She'll still be around, though! I had no idea what to expect from Moth Brown, but it's a great crease colour. I have absolutely no greys so this is definitely unique in my colleciton. I see some purple in it on me, but there's nothing brown about it; it's almost a steel grey. Jete is also very pretty, a brightening shimmery pink. I'll have to try it out tomorrow when I don't have a base colour on to gauge if I think it's too cool/pink for me. If it is, my daughter will love it.
I'm glad I got both.
As an aside, the site still shows 'Pending' for my order which is typical. I usually get the products before that gets updated.
