See I still don't understand the NW vs NC thing. I wear cool colors and look best in blues, purples etc clothing wise and think of myself as cool toned. But MAC classifies me as a NW. I thought that was because of the opposite to create a neutral canvus. Meanwhile I am Brazilian {moms side and birth place} so am olive toned but fair since my dad's family is full of blue eyed blondes. My last foundation purchase was Matchmaster 1.5 which the MUA told me was a neutral neutral. I really hate the system except that using it makes it easier for others to know where you are coming from.....

Wow, you have to wonder if they're even authentic.

The price isn't too bad but I still wouldn't buy one.
I'm still hoping I can get a CYY somehow but no way I would pay $48. Outrageous!

It's really weird, but for MAC foundations, NW is for cooler skin tones and NC is for warmer. I'm sure that Mac-Guy or one of our more knowledgeable Specktrettes can help explain it better than I could. I don't want to confuse you with twisted reasoning of why it is the the way it is, haha.

That is so weird to me and has NEVER made sense. I am very pale with pink undertones, and I am a perfect NW15. I have always thought I was warm-toned. NC is always much too yellow for me.

I think next time Mac does a voting release they should let customers vote on NEW colors. That way they cant mess it up if it doesnt match a past shade.

I hope the "new" moth brown doesn't make it look like two bruised black eyes on me... *sigh* without the dimension of the purple it could be easy to get into that area...
Totally agree! I hope it doesn't end up looking like Nebula pigment. I love Nebula but I have to be so careful with it. Why won't the grey taupes just love meeeee

I'm disappointed by MB and just got me shipping notice today. Does MAC accept returns or do you have to refuse the package? And how do you refuse a package left lying on your porch? LOL

I need to know the samething lol.
You can return things to MAC. i have had to in the past with some things that gave me an allergic reaction. I have never had a problem returning anything to them. Just fill out the back of the packing sheet. I'm not sure about refusing the package though. That might make it take longer than doing an actual return, to get your refund.

Instead of returning it, swap it or sell it. if you return it, MAC will have to destroy it. This not only means that a product goes to waste, but it also contributes to the steadily raising prices as each return means a loss for MAC.

Of course, it is a different story if the product is broken or messed up in another way.

Yeah I noticed they don't seal products or anything which kind of stinks in terms of returns. Although I guess legally they still may have to destroy it. Thanks for the info. I'm unable to swap at this time and doubt anyone would purchase it from me since it's still available on the website. I bought two thinking there would be a purple tone to it.
