I really think that people should at least TRY MB before thinking about returning it. What doesn't work for one person may work for someone else. And I agree w/ Mac-Guy, if you really don't like it, swap or sell it.

Yeah I noticed they don't seal products or anything which kind of stinks in terms of returns. Although I guess legally they still may have to destroy it. Thanks for the info. I'm unable to swap at this time and doubt anyone would purchase it from me since it's still available on the website. I bought two thinking there would be a purple tone to it.

Got my Flash of Flesh today. Am I the only one who hates that name?! It looks more sheer than I thought it would. But it's ok. It does have a bit of a flash in the light. Very sticky which I don't mind too much but I wouldn't rave overall. I prefer milkier color I guess.

You're not alone. It makes me think of streakers.

Totally agree. I wasn't sure what to expect and I know I need to figure out how to make MB look great instead of ok (I'll probably not wear Jete and MB together but pair both with other colours that are more naturally flattering), but it really is a basic colour that I think most could work with.

I threw Ruffian Red in my cart when I ordered my lipsticks last week and I'm really glad I did! I have a ton of reds and this one is a little more on the orange side than what I normally go for, but it really is growing on me. Even my husband commented on it...which is HUGE!

I agree, Ruffian Red is so worth it. That's the color I'm wearing in my avatar. I have two and I think I'm getting a 3rd. All of this talk about repromoted colors not being the same has me worried.

I've been thinking about getting the matte mixing medium but when I checkout, I forget! I love matte lippies! I'm sure you'll do something beautiful.

I remembered to get P+P Lip last night, but forgot all about the matte mixing medium. I'll add it to my cart now so it will be in there the next time I buy something.

It there is no purple shift I am gonna be peeved. I almost always wear plum or purple colors in my crease cus I have hazelish specks round my iris and I like to emphasize those. Actually one MUA said my eyes were green cus she was color blind but she was the one who took me away from wearing browns and tans to stuff with a purple tinge. Greatest make up lesson ever. I go out and people tell me my eyes are gorgeous all the freaking time and I put it all on going from strict neutrals to adding a wee bit of very cool pink or purple to the mix

MAC Matte Mixing Medium or MAC Matte?

I find Mattes and Satins to work best on my lips, but I can only wear Lustres and Amplifieds on really good days. Do you think P+P Lip will work well for me?

Matte Mixing Medium is a pro product. Comes in a jar rather than a tube. As MAC Guy stated, the mixing medium would be better for lip products. Just didn't want people to get those mixed up. If you don't have a Pro card you can call MAC directly to order pro products though.

Ok well I'm going to join the Rocker train lol. Now what to do about hiding the black box from the husband lol. I have been getting so many packages lately (random things not just MAC) that now he can tell which ones are from MAC.

I know about that! My husband has known what a black box comes from for a long time and he gets mad, so I hide the boxes or take them out to the garbage, haha!
