I think it might just be one of those shades that looks different on different skin tones.

Very true. I hope it reads more purple on me, but if not, I have my arsenal of purple bases to work with! Haha.
I'm just wondering if new MB is truly different from old. I've seen swatches where they look similar and others that looked totally different.

It could also be the lighting and the way people apply it. I notice that sometimes my eyeshadows look more washed out in natural lighting compared to indoor artificial lighting. Also, with some eyeshadows, especially duochromes, the undertones and "color shifts" are much more apparent when swatched heavily using a dense brush and over a primer.

I got my MB but Jete was missing from the package totally! My MB looks a lot more like the original than Shellcat's and for sure has the color shift.

Oh my goodness! I bought Moth Brown and Jete too and my package is suppose to arrive today. Hopefully, I won't be missing any items.
By the way, it's more believable if an item was missing from a huge order, but with only 2 items, how could the packager forget to include that? hmm...sticky fingers at the warehouse?

I was trying to see if I had anything like Moth Brown in my collection. The closest thing I had was Shale but you can see the differences. It looks like Moth Brown has some silver-ish undertones:

I ordered more than just those 2. I got 2 MB, Jete, Guac (IDK why but I am glad I did), Rocker, Impassioned and GAT lipglass, a brush and a duo from some other collection.

I am so tempted to use the two day shipping code for another MB but I really should wait to see if I like it! Supposedly the code expires Friday night but past experience has proven that it MIGHT last until Sunday night. Either way, my MB doesn't get here until Monday haha.

Oh, that makes more sense! A few years ago, I placed a huge order with mac and ordered more than 15 eyeshadow refill pans, a few brushes, powder and foundation and one of the items were missing from my package. They seem to have a higher chance of making a mistake when they're fulfilling big orders.

I just got another 129. I use my other one a ton got an extra so I don't have to wash it every other day.
