Maybe finger swatching first jacked it up. I have seen that happen at the counters a lot and used to be guilty of it myself. Only clean and dry brushes go in any of my products now.

I just swatches the BU. Same thing. Used my clean 217. Maybe im just too dang pale. too bad.

That eyeshadow look is gorgeous, your username is spot on! You guys are making me regret not getting a BU of MB. Maybe if they ever restock CYY I will do it. Got my goodies today, will post better swatches/pics later on today. Loving guacamole, color is beautiful. The texture of MB is so smooth. Not sure how I feel about rocker yet, lol not used to the vampy colors, and FoF I haven't formed an opinion on it yet. Well, ladies I'm turning in. See ya later same time, same bat channel. lol

I'm returning my By Request lipglasses. All three shades had arrived with discoloration at the bottom of the tubes and now they're starting to smell a little off. I think I'll replace Flash of Flesh and maybe Cult of Cherry, but Bait is getting refunded. It seems fairly ordinary. These lipglasses also feel super duper tacky. I much prefer CSGs, but I'm willing to tolerate lipglasses for special colors that I can't get in the CSG range. Like All Of My Purple Life and the new Restless shade from Styleseeker. I don't know why the By Request glasses seem to be extra sticky.
I'm waiting for my By Request shadows to arrive on Monday along with my Styleseeker items to see if any returns need to be made from those orders. That way I can just ship everything back at once. I also have to return Razzlerdazzler lipglass from Fashion Sets because it's defective. It has a very strong plastic smell. I recommend that everyone who purchased that shade to check your tube.

That is horrible! It doesn't surprise me at all. I had a brand new iphone delivered to my home address once.. my grandmother heard the door bell ring and by the time she got to the door the ups guy was driving away. He marked the package as "left at the front door" and there was nothing there! So sad that they can get away with things like that. I hope nothing is sold out by the time they resolve your problem.RANT: So.....I got the notification that my order was delivered and signed for yesterday morning at 10:48 by someone named Sam. Problem? The security guard's name is Kenny. The driver apparently wrote in the remarks section that no one was at the security desk (LIE: The aforementioned Kenny is a supervisor and doesn't leave the desk unattended and the concierge was there too so...LIE) so he went to the office, where someone signed for it and it was left at the reception desk. Problem? The building office isn't even visible when you enter the lobby and they do not, under any circumstances, accept packages for tenants. Mr. UPS Driver would have been directed back to the security desk to have them sign for and lock up my MAC box. I called UPS who told me to call the shipper. No help. I called MAC and while helpful, they can't do anything (file a claim, etc.) until the 22nd. If the items I ordered are sold out by then, I'm just screwed. So, I called UPS again to find out who the driver was and they wouldn't tell me so I'm heading to the distribution center tomorrow to find out myself because clearly, he stole my box.I will have answers and I will get my damn box. I'm so mad I could scream! I've never had a package disappear so this particular one, with it's LE stuff that was damn near over-nighted to me, irks me. RANT over.

I am wearing MB in the crease with Beautiful Iris ( I think, light violet, might be Her Alter Ego) on the lid and Vanilla pigment on the brow bone. I love it!!!

Actually I disagree with the whole CYY vs Heroine. MAC tends to repromote more popular/wearable shades. Look at Rocker.... It was a hit then and it took soooooo long to be "requested". Mostly things like ever hip, or russian red (that keeps coming in collections even though its perm). On MUAlley I have been messaged more about my Heroine BU (which I am still clingy with) than CYY. I think it's more likely that CYY makes it to perm than heroine being repromoted in less than 2 years. Remember st. Germain? With that cupcake looking collection? It sold out fast, it was also brought back with euristocrats or however it was spelt and then it became perm. Heroine is also undupeable. CYY has Barry M and quite closely NYx matter hot pink one.

Received my MB and Jete today. MB is almost identical to my Barbie version, just slightly less frosted which I believe contributes to the less prominent purple shift. However the new one is more pigmented than the Barbie version so best of both worlds. Considering a backup even though this one was supposed to be my backup

iPhone 4 had A LOT of missing packages. There were a lot of reports of exactly what you said or people signing for the box, get it inside, and it's completely empty.
Do you gals use magnets on the bottom of your depots, is it hard to do?

I got my Moth Brown and Guacamole last night. Haven't tried Guac yet but I'm wearing MB in the crease with Young Venus on the lid today. I like it, it's not something I'd pay 30 bucks for but its a nice plummy warm gray. I'm particularly happy that it doesn't pull blue on me like most grays do.

I use magnet sheets I get at the craft store, so I can cut the magnet into whatever shape I need. This way it covers the entire base of the shadow and adheres more securely to the shadow and to the palette.

Whenever I depot my MAC eyeshadows, I have to place a magnet on the back of the pan in order for it to magnetize to my empty eyeshadow palette.
I use the thin round magnets that MAC uses for their refill pans. You can purchase the thin round magnets at craft stores, such as Michaels, or on ebay.
One side of the magnet is sticky and adheres to the eyeshadow pan, while the other side magnetizes to the palette. Therefore, you don't need to use glue for the magnet to stick to the eyeshadow pan.

I'm so glad alot of you kept going on & on about how great Rocker is. I finally ordered it & I have to agree it's fabulous! I don't wear dark/vamp lipstick but Rocker is definitely a keeper. I may have to get a BU.
