Oh wow, that's crazy. So sorry that happenedRANT: So.....I got the notification that my order was delivered and signed for yesterday morning at 10:48 by someone named Sam. Problem? The security guard's name is Kenny. The driver apparently wrote in the remarks section that no one was at the security desk (LIE: The aforementioned Kenny is a supervisor and doesn't leave the desk unattended and the concierge was there too so...LIE) so he went to the office, where someone signed for it and it was left at the reception desk. Problem? The building office isn't even visible when you enter the lobby and they do not, under any circumstances, accept packages for tenants. Mr. UPS Driver would have been directed back to the security desk to have them sign for and lock up my MAC box. I called UPS who told me to call the shipper. No help. I called MAC and while helpful, they can't do anything (file a claim, etc.) until the 22nd. If the items I ordered are sold out by then, I'm just screwed. So, I called UPS again to find out who the driver was and they wouldn't tell me so I'm heading to the distribution center tomorrow to find out myself because clearly, he stole my box. I will have answers and I will get my damn box. I'm so mad I could scream! I've never had a package disappear so this particular one, with it's LE stuff that was damn near over-nighted to me, irks me. RANT over.
that's terrible -- i hope you get your stuff!RANT: So.....I got the notification that my order was delivered and signed for yesterday morning at 10:48 by someone named Sam. Problem? That's unbelievable. I'm wondering who has your box now. Hope you'll find your box ASAP!RANT: So.....I got the notification that my order was delivered and signed for yesterday morning at 10:48 by someone named Sam. Problem? Wow! How terrible! I have had a few UPS shipments messed up, especially when a signature is required. I once waited all day for a shipment. I worked from home that day and at the end of the day, I checked the tracking online and the driver put down that I was not home. "1st attempt." NOT! I was home!! LIAR! My husband worked for UPS in college 20 years ago and he said drivers will often claim the customer is not home because they want to go home early! I also have a video camera set up on my porch and last year at the holidays, I saw the driver throw a package on my porch that clearly stated "FRAGILE." Nothing was broken thank goodness! (It was a 50s vintage, ceramic vase). I have never had a shipment stolen though. That is crazy! I hope you can get this remedied!i think mac should change the company who delivers the products im sorry if i offend anyone here but i really dont trust ups at all, i know they stolen products because one of my friends used to work there and he told that there is an enormous amount of items that people who work there just keep which is bs because you are paying them for a service, and the worst part about them is that they are know for misshandling boxes.
I agree. Swatching it from my finger worked great. When i used a brush... it was hard to get color. So im thinking i will use that with just a simple wash of color for those lazy days. With clean fingers of course.Am I the only one really disappointed in Jete? The colour is exactly what I was hoping for, but the texture is crap. There is zero colour payoff. I had to swipe it so many times, there's already a dip forming! Hardly the famous eyeshadow MAC is known for.
ups delivered something in the street and obviously sztolen....70 bucks gone. they didnt take responsibility for itWow! How terrible! Wow. I hope something can be done. At least refunded. I know it's especially painful because if something is sold out, it cannot be resent. Like my vintage 50s vase; if UPS broke it due not honoring it was labelled as fragile, it, too, would have been irreplaceable. I hope MAC goes with another shipper. USPS is cheaper and way more reliable!
I got great color payoff using my Bdellium 775 brush, so maybe a duo fiber eye brush might get you a better result.I agree. Swatching it from my finger worked great. When i used a brush... it was hard to get color. So im thinking i will use that with just a simple wash of color for those lazy days. With clean fingers of course. But i used jete on the lid and inner corner with moth brown in the crease and outer V. It looked lovely.
That sucks. I hope you can get your package!RANT: So.....I got the notification that my order was delivered and signed for yesterday morning at 10:48 by someone named Sam. Problem? Wow. I would be pissed too! Definitely head to UPS tomorrow and see who the driver is for your area. Hopefully you'll get a resolution and find out where your goodies are.RANT: So.....I got the notification that my order was delivered and signed for yesterday morning at 10:48 by someone named Sam. Don't do it! Mac is wwwaaaayyy more likely to repromote Heroine than they are CYY! Plus if it comes down to it you can find heroine much cheaper/easier than CYYI seriously just wanna scream right now ... I'm debating on whether or not I wanna offer my BU CYY for trade. I want Heroine sooooooooooooooooo bad! But then if I trade, I feel like I would be sad just for the simple fact it's such a popular color and who knows if I'll be able to get my hands on another one?! On the other hand, I feel like I'll never go through my first tube of it so do I really need to keep my BU? I'm going nuts thinking about this!
